The publishing company is getting criticized hard for releasing a promotion schedule in English. Even Korean fans are like "International people can't even read the story. Why aren't you releasing it in Korean (ie. their only official demographic)?"
Tsk, why do they care what the publishing company does. Do they think they're the only ones who deserve teasers!!!
*Shrug* Because it's, officially, not launched in English and thus actually involving copyright issues.. It's not that people internationally can't as we are reading, but shouldn't.. If you talk of legalities. Even if it's same novel/webtoon/etc, if it's in different languages/region, it is considered as different work and such.. Not sure of details, but that's the reason why KKP Korea doesn't help oversea's attempts to make IDs, etc.. Supposedly. It's only platform that clearly states that it doesn't offer oversea service and actually lanches apps/services in different countries with only some translated webtoons available, to my knowledge.

To be honest with how Kpop growing internatioanlly. What Kakaopage did was simply making a scheduler as if they want to debut a real group. In this case, most kpop company right now released a scheduler using english not hangeul. That's why I'm thinking what kkp did with the scheduler is a normal thing. They just trying to imitate nowadays kpop and there's nothing wrong with it at all.

I'm surprised they didn't take the 20 chapter-something as a common route for webtoon adaptations like this. That's interesting.
Nope, no romance so far upto lastest chapter in the novel. But it's really nice though- according to fan opinion this novel has the most realistic representation of the innerworks of the K-pop / Idol industry, and some actually recommends reading this one before actually writing the related genre fiction, if you don't have RL experience.. So authentic that the author kindly sets events schedule/season 1 ending and season 2 beginning schedules to the Debut date of TeSTAR or- Sejin's birthday or.. Yeah, that kind of things. Or the webtoon teasers which reminds me of real K-pop artist album promotions before the launch.. I recommend reading Debut or Die magazine as well, if you are interested. Our Text-dol has evolved to 2D-dols and I am very very glad to see the events without Ryu MoonDae (as in Ryu Gun-woo in Moondae)'s narrative tricks..!! Gun-woo's face only appeared hidden under the cap and glasses, but he looked really nice too~ No wonder he was said to have face which matches the.. Assured Image of LeTi Agency? Something like that, the words don't translate well to English.. Or maybe I just don't know the right word because I left RL K-pop stuff ages ago back when I was still a student.
yeah, as a big fan of kpop, i have to say the fans reactions, slang terms, concepts and trends in the novel follow irl k-fandom really well. kpop fans will find this novel fun because it gives the readers PTSD very often lol casual webtoon/novel readers will probably find the webtoon more fun because of the eye candies.
idol fantasy, very minimal action a 29yo guy who used to take and sell idols pics transmigrated into a 20yo boy and got a quest to debut as an idol within a year or he will die so he joined an idol survival show and compete against 77 other kids to get a spot in the debuting team. this summary is for around the first 60ish chaps
