I'm wondering if there is a novel where the mc gets transmigrated to another world but eventually gets strong enough to go back home and reunite with his family and friends
"Transmigration" where usually the original body was killed or had died somehow? So, what? They transmigrate back to yet another body (3rd now)?
the first definition of transmigrate is "to cause to go from one state of existence or place to another" so there doesn't need to be any form of death involved, they can reincarnate, they can get teleported, they can die and have their soul go to another body in another world, it doesn't matter they all result in transmigration
Admittedly, I don’t read a ton in the isekai genre these days, but all the ones I read before generally did involve dying (usually thanks to good old truck-kun ). I’ve seen a few “transmigrated into a novel” (primarily romance) types where the MC “wakes up” back in the original world (I believe Fields of Gold is one of those), or there’s some sort of parallel between their original self/world and the current self/world. But it’s always at the very end, so it doesn’t add much to the story.
Both BL 1) The Legendary Master's wife ( the pair gets strongs and hop world's to meet MC's family ) 2) The reader and the protagonist must be in love ( forcefully gets home and them ML becomes strong to hop world to re-unite with mc ) Wait I might have 2 more like these for BG pairing too
