oh the plot seems interesting. i like it when both fl & ml have the memory of their past lives. is there any kind soul here who's willing to spoil us more about this novel?

 

If they repeat life up to 3 times, doesn't that mean they're not meant to be?

why korean novels, between titles and ending contents of stories are different. shouldn't the story of the novel fit the title?

The Mc remember her past life, but it was the time when the Ml didn't even touch her so she was sad and extremely depressed.
She listened the she was ugly from her brother so she things that the Ml doesn't love her like a women and that she isn't feminine for him.
When the Mc return she started to study to save her father from a illness.
There's a moment when her mother find her studying and started to thing that her daughter is a genius.
So she asked the Mc if she wants to go to the academy, but the Mc doesn't want because the Ml will be there in the future.

 

She really wanted kids so she wouldn't have wanted to use birth control or alternative methods and he couldn't explain the risks because the rules of his time magic state he could die if he gets found out (at least that's how I understood it). I really like how in this story neither of them is in the wrong. I just want to know when the misunderstanding gets cleared up!

 

Well some spoilers until 45.1 chapter

Spoiler: 1 life

So let's start with 1 life the original time line. She died 24 or 26 years old got a miscarriage (baby died) probably because her illness eat her up to the point that she couldn't wear a ring. She had a baby untill 7 months but then something happened. In her last moment she was singing a song that she would die and don't cry ML be happy and when she died whole family was sad and ML accidentally turned back time for the first time before the wedding 22 years old

Spoiler: 2 life

After he used his first change he started researching a cure for her and her (latter for father too who died when she was 29 years old and took 10 years for him to die). He never helped MC, wasn't her emotional support nor a husband just a good friend. When she asked to do so husband wife things like just a first kiss he just talks his way or loughs, when she started asking specifically like he sees her as a women, he is seeing someone or does he even want to do it he just loughs and comfort her with head kiss. When he loughed when she asked straight forward to do it with him that was critical point + with recent and old wounds that was critical point and asked for divorce ironically it was when he had just finished the cure. He begged her and didn't understand that he destroyed her pride as a woman and in the end used his 2 chance and turned back time when they were 8.

Spoiler: 3 life

The last chance. Something went wrong and she remembered her second life and decided to not marry him. Just in short he knew he F and tried to bring back how it used to be but stepped back and tried to be her friend (start a new relationship) but no mother what she keep rejecting him and draws a firm friend line. ML developed a cure with the researcher but gave all credit for MC because of the rules of time trave (first time creating cure when they were 18). Parents are worried about MC and ML relationship and tried not to fix it but no progress because they don't know the clause and after MC mom regretted that she stayed out of their relationship and that she felt sorry for ML and need to welcome new in-law. After her debut she goes on dates, ML gets a tip for MC brother and leaves academy early. 2 failed dates and 1 scared off by ML. Back and forth ML mom wanted daughter like MC and wanted her son be happy but can't do anything because they can't force someone's heart. ML needs to find a reason why she rejects him. Back and forth she rejects him coldly again and (after asked) tells about her ideal but didn't tell most important part but he figured it out.
Apparently he knew he had a second chance and didn't want her to die so he just stop their relationship as a couple (even when she tried all that) and was just a friend, focused on researched and left her she needed his support the most and now is desperate because he can't live without her and its his last chance and needs something like a trigger to get close to MC. MC goes to a date with a decent guy (he resembles ML and thinks maybe he has lingering attachment and decides move forward) and after the date she got out of the carriage early (she was alone) and was almost kidnapped but brother saved her.
She didn't get sick in her 2 life but got sick in 1 life

Spoiler: Time rules

He can't tell anyone, he can't be suspected in short and if its broken you get sent back to your most desperate moment (basically when MC dies). And you only have 2 chances any more and your soul bye bye.

Spoiler: Family

MC family protect empire from the front and ML from the back, in the underground the have a sleeping dragon(with magic, could not kill him at that time) and it said to ML that he will need him but decided that he misheard and it was impossible. His dad knew he went back but could not ask about details.

Spoiler: Relationship

MC brother is tamed by her Fiancé.
Fiancé is a good person
Brother in childhood hated ML now supports. Parents fell pity for ML.
ML is cold to everyone else (typical)
MC original rival now her friend
New friend interested in that cure researcher

Spoiler: Why ML didn't tell MC that he remembers?

The time rules + he knew if he told her that he remembers that he had ---100% chance with her because she still saw him as a friend atleast and separated +- him from his past self

Spoiler: Assuming

Dragon is the cause of desease, ML will make a deal with the dragon, MC finds out he remembered, cold War with them, she finds out about 1 life, she forgives, happy ending

So for a comment above its not like they couldn't do it safe and just say he didn't want children or couldn't he just didn't want to and gave no reason why. And now wants to cry for his actions back then because he knew he did it wrongly and didn't know she would remember.
