I use chrome and like it a lot. I recommend getting this plugin for the chrome browser. It is super useful for MTLing Chinese novels.

This plugin is also useful for language learning through watching dramas, if you're learning any languages.

mm... from a privacy standpoint, yes. otherwise, chrome is a good browser. as for plugins, most of them works in other chrome-based browser.

last week i heard that an antd-react app didn't behave in firefox. it was ignored because since a few years ago my company took the stand of supporting chromium-based browser only.

on the other hand there were some webnovel sites with crashed page every few seconds when accessed through chrome.

    your mileage may vary.

I mainly use firefox, because it use less RAM and has pretty good privacy settings and very stable. I havent encountered broken web page yet using firefox.

Instead of chrome, you might want to use other chromium based browser instead, chrome are notorius for their RAM usage, even edge is better than chrome somehow. Other firefox based browsers are pretty good too, but nowadays they are not that different than using firefox with some privacy extension.

If you really care about privacy, take a look at what browser does linux users use, linux users tends to value their privacy more, thus the browser they use should be pretty good in protecting their privacy.

You can also use multiple browser to do certain things, for example if you dont want to be tracked use brave/tor, then if you want to watch youtube use chrome (you already use google service, it doesnt really matter what browser you use, you are tracked already), etc.

People aint puttin enough respect on librewolf , my pref. over waterfox these days.
I try to get everyone I know onto some fork of firefox, once they start using it they realize just how clean the experience is.
