I've read translated manga so far till 11 and we've got their first kiss already. Uh huh. Proceed to reading the novel at nyo-something (not sure how it's spell) so far chapter 165(?) and it seems like they're almost near with their marriage ceremony and Roche is nervous to kiss Arnold during ceremony while Arnold just nonchalantly asked her that ceremony is a pain in the a**. But seeing how Roche seemed happy preparing a project and dreaming petals flowing down during their ceremony, Arnold seemed satisfied.

Spoiler: Comments and thoughts upon latest chapter novel

I'm seriously invested with this story other than "Receptionist in another world", but both stories seemed likely torturing me with delaying their happy moment and left a lot of things to reader interpretation. I could say that was part of its charm. But too much narration and riddles, and not a direct result of feelings portrayal, making me insecure and lack reassurance about ML feelings

I think rn it's still in theater arc and Risch and Arnold still haven't gotten married yet. I think Guthail(??), some knight who was like one of Arnold's soldiers (commander??) or smth for other timelines when he overthrew the Emperor plays a big role in this arc somehow but no idea how or why lol..

*There were tons of fluffy moments throughout the novel actually to the point that my hands were trembling while trying to get through the chapter. Especially if this one's got you on genre transition it's actually refreshing to read. The fluff's gone off the roof as nearing to vol 5. I'm telling you it's not easy esp with ch with hot atmosphere!! I'm like BRUH DON'T DO THIS TO MEEE!!

*I'm confused with country/kingdom/empire in the novel. So I settled with Empire in Arnold's place then kingdom for the rest. Also with chapters and volumes but volumes seems more appropriate so its vol 1-5

*I only had vol 5 in chapter summary and dear heavens to all guiding me and beyond I was trying hard not include my squealing, kya-ing, everything -ing throughout but I just can't take some chapters that really produce tons of butterflies on my empty stomach lol

Chairman Tully tried to decline Riche's business proposal. It all changed when Riche gave him a medicine that could cure his little sister's disease which he have been searching hard for. All on Riche's side (maids and escort knights included) present in the meeting were touched by Riche's business proposal thinking about the people in the slums.
Theodore sent Riche a letter posing as Arnold saying he has something important to talk about. Elze, her maid and one of her escort knight seems to be under the directions of Theodore and got her fainted and sent to the chapel. However, Elze and the escort knight are moved by Riche before so that already told them the plan but Riche said to proceed with it and had sent a letter to Arnold so the two won't get punished. Riche having taken the antidote woke up in no time and got away from the room she got locked away. Arnold and Theodore met at the chapel and talked how Arnold only looked at him when Riche is involved. Riche arrived and Theodore was shocked how she got away. She told them to talk things out as they are misunderstanding each other. Theodore walks away. Riche got anxious to which Arnold kissed her to help her cal down (that's the first kiss, lol). Then she followed Theodore at the top of the chapel and talked. It seems Theodore just loves and admires his brother a brocon. It's not like Arnold neglected his brother he was actually aware of all the actions he has taken and made sure that everything will not cause him harm. He just did not expressed it openly and expressively. When Theodore tried to jump out the chapel from the top-floor Arnold hurriedly grabbed him and explained his side of the story. The sleeping pill started to kick-in and Riche's legs started to give out to which Arnold held her up. He let out a small laugh for having to fall asleep in such a situation. Theodore was stupefied.

Spoiler: Vol. 2: Summary (ch. 42-78)

Volume II

They were out looking for an engagement ring to which Riche thought as simply accompanying Arnold to his undercover public affairs. They found out Crown Prince of Kingdom of Koyol, Kyle Morgan Cleverley, arrived in the empire much earlier than scheduled. He was so sick and apparently a patient of Riche when she was a pharmacist. Kyle wanted to form an alliance with the Empire Garkuhain to get away from the pressure of other kingdoms. Arnold first declined but Riche wanted the alliance to happen then propose something that could benefit the both territories. Tha answer was an exhchange of Alchemy to produce more advanced and reliable equipments like pocket watch that Arnold liked which he lend to Riche and for the advancement of their armory in exchange for military training from Garkuhain.
An alchemist by the name of Michelle Evan was travelling with Kyle in Garkuhain and the one where Riche learned of alchemy in her previous life. He believed that he was born to cause unhappiness around him. Caused by his own father's hatred of him having his wife died during childbirth. He wanted to introduced his creation for what he calls gunpowder to Arnold considering that Garkuhain is a war-driven empire and would ultimately cause more chaos to the world. Riche remember that experiment and really hated it. Before his planned havoc Riche immediately manipulated the gunpowder and turns it out what he created was fireworks forming flowers in the sky and one with a aurora-effect. Riche talked it out with Michelle and changed hid mind about his perspectives. He got out with the punishment as Riche defended that it was a beautiful creation that they also wanted to exchange with Garkuhain.

Volume III
​

Riche wanted to officially break off her engagement with Dietrich, Crown Prince of Kingdom of Elmity. Since it was blessed by the church she has to personally go to the church and have it officially cut off. At the same time, she wanted to check out the church as she remembered Arnold in her previous life conquered the Holy Kingdom of Domana as well. As they arrived they met Jonal Ducal's daughter, Milia Clarissa Jonal, acting as the shrine princess for the upcoming celebration. A young lady Riche served as a maid in her 4th life. Milia believed that whenever she hated something it can get cursed. Reflecting on the previous accidents that she encountered. Riche was skeptical about it and decided to get close to her. The he also meet a boy named Leo, to which she remembered in her past life as a one-eyed and grumpy knight.
Riche was wondering since the neighboring territories between the Kingdom of Domana and the Empire of Garkuhain were conquered by the latter. Why did the war-driven emperor left Domana alone? It was later revealed that the emperor took their last shrine princess as his wife as the same time as his hostage. In exchange if another member of it's lineage is born Domana is done for including the death of that person. Too much family issue here that I'm confused with so leaving it out.
The said celebration only took place after years of people pleading the church to have it back since the death (?) of the last shrine princess. And so they selected the young lady from a ducal house, Milia to do it. Following along the passage of their scriptures that a shrine princess must have a spring-colored hair and Milia has a lavender (?) colored hair.
There were actually two factions within the church. Milia is actually an adopted daughter of the duke and apparently a true shrine princess which one faction wanted to protect under the eyes of the current Garkuhain emperor (led by the Bishop Schneider, if I remember that right) and someone that the other faction to kill for to protect the treaty (led by the Archbishop). Leo was a trained assassin meant to escort/protect Milia.
There was a restricted forest at the back of the church to which Riche got curious off. She saw Leo came in the forest and followed him that's when she knew he was a trained personnel. The forest was meant to be a trap for Milia done by the Archbishop. It was full of traps covered in poison, one wrong move and it will lead to death. On the day Riche went to the forest with Leo she took samples of the poison present and made an antidote just in case.
On the day of the celebration, Riche went looking for Milia who entered the restricted forest. She was crying saying that she loves his father even if she feels that she was not the real child of the duke and that she reflected on her misconduct. However, as she was trying to get Milia out from a string trap she got herself shot by a mechanized arrow close to her neck. Milia was out and Riche was starting to lose her consciousness. Arnold met Milia and went to save Riche. Although the poison was deadly Arnold sucked out the poison from her neck wound (I SWEAR IT WAS GOING HOT IN HERE POVS ARE K*LLING ME!!!) and got her back out of the forest.
Riche then realized everything and asked Arnold what is the color of his mother's hair? To which Arnold replied with a grin: "Lavender". Arnold and Milia are siblings (or someone related). This volume revealed how many of his siblings (still babies) were killed in front of him by the emperor for not having the same black hair and blue eyes the emperor had and Arnold was the best among he has ever produced and how he he hated his black hair and blue eyes.
Later, the Archbishop tried to kill the unconscious Milia. Arnold dominated the group of archers affront the archbishop and tried to kill the Archbishop not caring annymore of his surroundings. However, Riche tried to stop this by remembering the one that got her mind unfocused and she bit Arnold's neck. Then some talks. Arnold settled with not letting the situation reach the emperor's ears. And somehow let Milia know of her origin. she has started calling Riche sister before since she does not have any sister. Then when she came in the room with Arnold and Riche in it she said that if Arnold's gonna marry her sister Riche then Arnold will be his brother. (This last one was really cute, like really)

Volume IV
​

It was the arrival of foreign delegates/royalties to attend the matrimony of Riche and Arnold in a month's time. They arrived in a locality (viscounty, ?) to also monitor the currency exchange offices. There they met the princess from Sigwell, Harriet, that was engage with the king of the Kingdom of Fabriana. He does not let her be with any male person that even the guards are females and he only let her brother, Curtis, to meet her. Her brother arrived later bringing her books and souvenirs. The Kingdom of Sigwell is known for it's books and publishing company but a very small and weak kingdom which only relies on its neighboring countries' pact.
Upon the arrival of her brother, Riche realized that it was not Curtis but Raul posing as Curtis. Raul is her head hunter in their group in her fifth life. His specialty is posing as someone else, copying that person's action and habits. She realized Raul because of his red eyes. The real Curtis is a very sick prince. Harriet in Riche's past life was known to have been beheaded as punishment for emptying Fabriana's treasury. To which Riche questioned as she was meek in person, doesn't dare to use her money to buy dresses/jewels, and get scolded every now and then by her maid.
The truth was that the king of Fabriana mixed in counterfeit Garkuhain money in Harriet's pouch and encourage her to spend it. Harriet knew of the counterfeit and doesn't want to do so. The reason why she was beheaded in Riche's previous life is because of that and when Garkuhain caught wind of it that forced Fabriana to go to war against Garkuhain. During the war, Fabriana urged Sigwell that since Harriet was a princess of their kingdom they should also bear the consequences and become their aid in the war. That was what happened in Riche's previous life as a hunter. Although not everyone knew of the truth many still made fun of the late Harriet's tragedy.
Raul is both hired by Curtis to rescue her sister and by Fabriana to stage her death in Garkuhain causing territorial dispute. However, Raul has been loyal to Sigwell and risked his life to let Harriet escape from Fabriana guards and prevent her death in Garkuhain as much as possible. Riche and Arnold realized everything that happened and Riche wanted to help Harriet and Raul and did helped them as well against the Fabriana guards. As Arnold, Riche, Harriet, and Raul met at the tower, Riche was pondering what is the best way to ally with Sigwell and help her now friend, Harriet, escape from the grasp of Fabriana's king. Arnold then open up the idea of bank note where instead of using gold and silver for coins they would instead write up the specific amount needed in a special paper and have the necessary gold/silver ready. It's less bulky and efficient but the idea is new. Raul was skeptical because of using paper which no one have ever thought of. Arnold was encourage o the idea because Riche believed in him no matter what (a lot of sweet talks in here) and so he believed that it will be successful. Taking advantage of the alchemy in Kingdom of Koyol and the publishing techniques only unique in the Kingdom of Sigwell, Garkuhain, Koyol, and Sigwell can be reliable allies. This idea will also help solidify the alliance that Garkuhain and Koyol already had. So Harriet doesn't have to marry to the king of Fabriana. The real Curtis arrived in Garkuhain later and talked with Arnold. He also met with Riche.
This volume also talked about the weakness of Riche which are ghost. So when she heard the maids talking about a ghost in the place they are staying she put up a strong front then waited for Arnold to arrive so she can sleep with him (not sexually but LOTS OF FLUFFINESS, REALLYYY).
Riche also made Harriet more confident and they became friends even before the tower incident. Harriet also has a crush on Raul like way way before. But Raul fell love at first sight with Riche both in her previous life and the current life (not that anyone knew).
By the last part of the last chapter, it was shown that Arnold hired Raul unbeknownst to Riche.

Chapter 149: Every contingency!
Went to theater together. One time Riche talked about a theater performance to be held in the capital in passing with Arnold and Oliver Present. Arnold ofc heard it and immediately ordered Oliver to arranged for it.
Riche met one of the 5 vassals/commander in the war of aggression in the past life, Rodulf Gerd Gutheil. Gutheil was their escort knight in the theater.
Riche talked about the theater actress/singer Diva Sylvia who will be presenting. Arnold asked if she met/saw her before. She said yes with her ex-fiance Dietritch while trying her best not to mixed up memories from previous lives. Arnold was silent then hanged his head on Riche's shoulder watching over the pamphlet Riche was holding.

Chapter 150: It's an emergency!
Arnold got Riche conscious sitting so close to each other. Riche goes on blushing and Arnold realizing that seems satisfied with the reaction.
Diva Sylvia sunddenly collapsed.

Chapter 151: It’s a troublesome occurrence
Riche hurriedly did the first aid. Staff asked Arnold the name of the first aider and said, the princess (not yet). Everyone shocked and payed respects. Saw that Riche not wearing her shoes and took them from Knight Kamil instead then Arnold kneeled and helped her wear them. Everyone was dazed to see Arnold act that way. Riche's POV: "He's always been sweet about what he's doing, but these days it's becoming more and more sweet, or it seems like I've been spoiled."
Everything was settled then as they head out of the place, Riche heard a familiar voice turns out it was Dietrich acting arrogant against the knights supervising the theater. Riche was shocked, Arnold went cold.

Arnold was ready to leave the theater with Riche but Dietrich was making a fuss. Afraid that he may cause nuisance to other audience and knights Riche arranged for them to talk. Dietrich was seating across Riche and Arnold saying if she missed him and that she looks well. Arnold frowned upon him. Riche's POV: "But what's worrisome is Arnold's right hand. Why are His Highness Arnold holding my waist tightly!?"

Chapter 153: The excuse of the former fiancé
They found out Dietrich run away from their kingdom because he somehow lost his place in there and went to Garkuhain. Dietrich pointed out how Arnold was holding Riche so close. Ranting more about Riche is not yet married and so on. Arnold intimidates Dietrich who stood up while screaming. At that moment, Riche was hugged even tighter, and her heart was about to explode. Then Dietrich went on venting his frustrations since childhood because of how excellent Riche were since then. Riche was at a lost for words as he started crying and looked at Arnold for help. Riche was hopeful but Arnold flatly said: "It's not an explanation for your folly who tried to abandon your engagement with Riche and deport her. Then Dietrich collapsed while crying."

Chapter 154: Your current fiancée will see you
Arnold says: "There is no reason for me to care for this guy." Then went on how Dietrich treated Riche similar to a death sentence. Riche invited Arnold for a walk after. Somehow they talked about possibilities of infiltration route around the castle. Along the way, Riche met Arnold's father, the emperor. She was ashamed of her past lives as a hunter and knight because of getting scared on the emperor. Then Arnold tried to calm Riche down hugging her, kissing her forehead, and patting her back.

Chapter 170: Prepare to step in
Still trying to calm Riche down. Riche was down not being able to protect Arnold from his father as she was trying to carelessly draw Arnold's sword and may be accused for endangering the emperor's life.
They talked about the unmanned tower which previously where the quarters of the current emperor, queen, and other concubines.
