So, my mother is a woman of the ripe old age of 54, and she suffers from MS. Now, that means she doesn't have a lot of energy, and does not have a lot of strength either. So she often spends her time resting in her chair, either watching tv or playing candy crush on her ipad. And here is my request, since I honestly have no clue on casual and ipad games, I was hoping someone could give some advice to which games I could get her to try. Now a few parameters; She likes games like candy crush, tetris and a game called breakthru (a tetris looking game that once came with windows 95(?)). I think she might like puzzle games as well. And as she is getting up in the years, I don't think games that are time or reflex based are good for her. It has to be free to play, microtransactions doesn't matter (as long as they are not basicly spammed every minute). As she dislikes paying for things, claiming its the road to ludomania, even went so far as to call psychologists for help when I played wow years back. Hope you will give a few honest answers.
I dont really know but maybe interactive rpg like magium? If you havent heard of it its a game like a visual novel but no visual where she get choices at certain times in the book.
It has to be said, I don't think she would like anything with a story, as she often just blanks out when watching tv, not committing anything to memory, she just plays on her ipad to do something while emptying her thoughts.
candy crush. my mom played it every night before going to sleep. and its my job as a son to make sure the battery is fully charge. or that farming game i forgot. she played that too sometimes.
My mother stole my charger, when she had to turn hers in when it had a fault, she has not yet picked up a new, and has not yet returned mine...
I think it is better to let her play mind enhancing games like chess or something on ipad... for motor improving games of the hand, tetris or piano tiles are more than enough..
as I mentioned, she doesn't have that much energy to waste, so even when playing candy crush she sometimes end up playing a level 10 times before finding out what the objective is....
Get her: You must build a boat! It costs 3 dollars though, but it's good. It's like RPG Candy Crush, match 3 with RPG mechanics. You also recruit and upgrade your boat with the stuff you gain from the match 3 battles. It's the sequel to 10,000,000.
