I read this web novel from RtD almost 7 years ago. It's "Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World (WN)" and it was a guilty pleasure. Also, it easily entered my list of "This will never get an (not hentai) anime, no freaking way." list of web novels yet I just found out it has an ongoing anime. I didn't remember the JP title so I did not also know that it has a manga adaptation. I've come across the title but I thought it was a different story, lol. How times have changed. "Interspecies Reviewer" definitely set a precedent. XD
I wonder how that will play out. that novel is so excruciatingly slow but I somehow read it anyway because I like the game mechanics, but that's the kind of stuff they usually gloss over in adaptions (especially anime). As for novels I never thought would get anime adaptions? #1 has to be Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi: Sokushi Mahō to Sukiru Kopī no Chōetsu Hīru aka Redo of Healer Honestly it was pretty mindblowing when I found out about it last year
