Hi there! I really hope some of you could help me out. I’m really having trouble choosing a new anime to watch. I was hoping others would recommend some to me. I prefer anime with dark themes, those with depictions of cruelty and survival because they made me realize some harsh realities in life. Although these animes makes me cry everytime, I love watching them so much! Animes are similar to: • Promised Neverland • Tokyo Ghoul • Attack on Titans. I love how all the leads teamed up and fight with whatever they got. I like how they use their brains and think of solutions to their problems. I like their strenght and courage in facing every obstacles. Inshort, I don’t want stupid and wimpy leads who always depends on others. I want strong ones! (can be physically, intellectually, or spiritually) Still there should be CHARACTER GROWTH. Anyone know some anime that fits my description? Please tell me everything you know!! I’m begging you!

Wow just wow. I imagine you must have probably started anime about a decade ago and have been on and off over the years after the initial experience? Guyver one of the old classics, I miss the good ol days. No I more miss my ignorance of all the exciting things that were possible in fiction until I became numb since plot holes are unavoidable and I'm incredibly hard to please with my taste being fully developed.
