So, the Queen of England died today, and guess where I heard about it. TikTok, I learned about the queen's death from TikTok. So, where do you get your news, or, more specifically, where did you hear about the queen's death today?
news.google.com, curated into rss feeds about topic that I have to read about. do they mash her video with some dance in tiktok?
I saw the news about her when I went to check CNBC this morning. Not that I particularly cared, though.
I leant of her illness from TV, of her passing through Discord. I usually coutercheck this kind of news, but the person who told me had already done that. Then the memes came flowing.
The economist, google News, and YouTube. I heard about the queens death from a friend who's messaged me " 32 year old who married a 19 year old and his mistress are going to be king and queen" Was confused for a moment.... then rant was sent. I checked google for confirmation.
i dont watch TV and only visit a limited number of websites. NU offers minor newbites like this thread here. Youtube clips of Realtime with Bill Maher, and The Late show with Stephen Colbert offer political and general news of interest. MTG news i typically consume on MTGGoldfish, and tech news from LTT's youtube channels. I'll also watch random youtube bushcraft and DIY vods, but thats about it.
No, but there were a lot of people who were colonized by the england celebrating. Irish people on twitter were going crazy.
