At the very least, we are currently on good times with the series: Official canon pairing MJ suffering Not so good/very uncomfy info with stepmom Vio finally getting some resolution AND escaping that terrible household Gramps involvement (I have to agree its baffling he doesn't approve of Yulan. Is it his illegitimate status? His closet yandere gramps can vaguely detect probably? Either way, his biological granddaughter was saved by this man, and he remained ignorant until Yulan made his move (and if I remember things right, Yulan was the reason for the do-over/rerun. Other than currently lacking any character other than being a Vio simp, this man deserves to be with her. No questions. His biggest competition is literally Marine) Just let the wedding happen and let sperm donor and toxic wife suffer or get imprisoned. MJ... just needs to go back as a commoner. Not much harsh punishments, with her talents such as musical talents or educational bg, she could technically be self sufficient on her own

Allow me to jog your memory of the righteous hate this damn sperm-donor is bombarded with. He left his first born daughter-Violette, our lovely heroine, apple of Marin and Yulan’s eyes, with his mentally unstable/Yandere wife to go live a life with his mistress and raise his other daughter with the mistress. He never checked up on Violette and downright despises her but praises Maryjun just for living. Once his legal wife dies, he brings in his mistress(who is heavily implied to also be Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, except it’s implied that it also extends to Violette) and MJ back to the noble house which is Violette’s right and hers alone and acts all mighty and spews bs about ‘family’ when he’s the one who abandoned her to her mother like yesterday’s dust on the floor. Basically he’s trash with no redeeming qualities. he doesn’t love Violette and yet he acts entitled to her household name and resources. Trust he’s an ass
He's an ass and possibly a narcissists of the highest order. I still have my pitchfork if anyone wants to see him burning. Am still on the camp of kicking that family out of society just to make sure the lesson sticks.
I am glad things are going good finally on multiple fronts for Vio. I am curious how the political and house side of things will go (marriage wise with Yu ) Also probably in the minority here... But I don't hate Mj. Never really did, wanted her to get a better wake up call (granted the author has written her to the point where that couldn't happen.) So got what she got wake up call wise.. and we can all say what we want about her level of ignorance among other things but she unlike her mother her father she does actually love (not in the creepy way ew step mom and mom get out) her sister in both timelines (. Hate her Father..hes a literal hate sink credit to the author for writing the personification of hate sink .. hate her mother as well and some others though.
Ah, I would like to see how the trash father and mentally ill stepmother would end up living a miserable life. I want that Vio’s fortune and wealth would return to her. Her s**g father had no right to have her fortune at all. Why would’t his trashy attitude to Vio expose to all world? I want his life would be like the hell without any happiness I really hate this kind of so called human being. He doesn’t deserve to be called human. P.S. Sorry for my English. It's not my native language. I completely agree and support this suggestion! Why didn't author punish those disgusting people? I feel injustice. Vio had suffered for so long mentally and physically. And her fucking father didn’t receive any punishment at all???
I think the extent she approached with “impure intent” is overstated. The way she acted to gauge Vio’s intent towards crown princess candidacy was not inappropriate and she didn’t do anything bad to Vio either. She even apologized for approaching with such intentions to test her. Idk if anyone cleared this up afterwards, but Rosette is genuinely Vio’s friend. By chapter 169-170, she’s close enough that Vio feels comfortable to talk to her about her life, her family, how she felt worn, resentful etc. Rosette offers a really nice and grounded response holding her hand telling Vio that she isn’t in a position to lay judgement as she does not know them but she is Violet’s friend. They hug and she comforts Vio saying “It was painful all the time, wasn't it?" and Violet cries. Another note. Also as of the recent chapters she’s been announced as Claudia’s fiancée. She was worried about making Vio sad bc she still wasn’t absolutely sure of her feelings but she’s the one that gives the news. In the manga (chapter 21) She has her blind date meeting with Claudia. She didn’t do anything like badmouth Violet. In fact she was like “lol I can’t relate because Vio often invites me to spend time together” when Claudia comments that Violet is avoiding him. She also made a bit of judgmental face at him to which he comments: You think I did something don’t you? Also just past these chapters Violet is finally starting to move on. She’s learnt to be angry at the cr4pheads that hated her for no reason. Chapter 174 Violet: "I'm not bad at all!" Violet's "Family" was over. She didn't throw it away, she didn't need it. Finally!
Spoiler: C195 Yulan is about to graduate from student council The prince is also graduating. (Claudia's fiance) Violet and Yulan muse about the upcoming grad ceremony (where the prince is going to announce his engagement) and how its gonna be a hassle with the large crowds, aristocrats and Violet having to deal with hee family which will be present. Violet looks at Yulan and thinks about what a wonderful person he is / has become. Gear (?), the prince starts a convo with Yulan, saying that annoying people will appear since the news of his enagement is coming up. Yulan wants to punch Gear. However, he cant win as Gear is the strongest in the school. Gear:"After all this I'll introduce you to my father" Yulan is shocked and attacks Gear asking what he is plotting. Gear laughs and, with a innocent face, smiles with mischief. Gear:" You. You used me, didn't you" (Context:- Remember that the prince is to announce his engagement after graduation during the grad ceremony and Yulan & Violet are planning to release news of their own engagement using the announcement as a cover for their own under grandfathers instructions, hence why the prince confronts Yulan about "using him")
I’ve been reading the manga. So when I read that Rosette was a ‘bad person’, I didn’t really believe it. It’s nice that Violette’s circle of friends has expanded. Now if only her crapsack sperm donor and the Yandere mistress will go wallow and die in muddy and shitty ravines
Actually, depending on manga this lil spoiler(?) Of mine was wrong, but in the novel it was portrayed differently,, It was stated that she really did not have all that pure intentions when coming in contact with Vio, The fact that she was not going to be MC enemy does not mean that she have to be a good person, or that she would be neutral, One can be a bad or morally grey person, and not necessarly be evil towards us or anyone else, one can manipulate a person yet not hurting them at the same time And don't get me wrong here please, i do like Rosette a lot, she is greatly presented in this novel/manga, trough there are differences between the two serialization (which i dont rlly mind ^°D) she is showed like a hooman who is not good nor bad, n i really like this. A character like that is so rare, even trough a lot of people we meet on a daily basis are like that :'( i'm not saying this is bad, humans are all different and unique in their own right, and our mistakes are what makes and builds us , as long as it doesn't hurt anyone ;P Also, xDDd o didn't even remember i wrote smth like that and using such harsh words towards Rosie I don't really remember what i trought ab her bacc then, but now i could say that prob most if it was my /this character will prob hurt MC/ radar, as most of mangas i read bacc there was ab betrayal and so on ;-; Seems my memo is getting worse :'). They haven't actually done anything illegal tho...? The "sperm downer" literally made that impossible. MJ is honestly incapable of fending for herself. She has talents sure, but her upbringing basically left her as a sheltered wallflower. She NEEDS someone to support her XD Another sin for bestdad's tally I guess. Selfish and entitled. A nobody with a pretty face that seduced Vio's mom, left her to be with another woman and raised a "ideal family" while leaving his first born (and rightful heir) to fend for herself with her "bestdad obsessed" mother. Yet it's clear he was paying some attention, as the moment she died he came swooping in to take over. Vio is a tool for his perfect life, and he'd rather have her gone because of her connection to "that woman" But she's also the only reason he has any authority so... Yeah, he's a pretty obvious hate sink. Still feel bad for MJ tho, she didn't deserve to be born into this. I hope the story ends with Vio cucking him.

It's literally in the thread. But I'll humor you on what I remember off the top of my head. MJ is the sister. We dumbed down the name to make it faster to type because we're scum. As for her sister being innocent, what you see is what you get. She can be best described as a deconstruction of the heroine. She's literally just that gifted, kind, and innocent. Her father sheltered her quite a bit and both parents are the definition of snakes in the grass. Vio is the breadwinner, her dad is forced to use her to live the life he always wanted. If he had his way she wouldn't exist, but he'd have the rank and prestige that came with her family, but MJ finally managed to shatter his glass house with a Yulan shaped pebble. But I digress, point is that yes. MJ did nothing wrong, she's just ignorant about her and Vio's actual situation. She wants to get along with her half-sister, but doesn't actually realize that she's the daughter of the other woman and basically the bad guy in this situation. The perfect ending would be her becoming a nun I guess, and her father falling into ruin. From what I understand, Vio still wants nothing to do with her. As far as MJ is concerned, there's no real "good and bad" guy here. Same can't be said for her parents however. Moving on.

Novel-wise, its heavily Yulan at this point with just a few hiccups last I remember the spoilers here (something like despite telling gramps dad's deeds, for some reason he does not approve of Yulan? Still... I think these two are engaged now, right?)
May I ask which of the two stories about very miserable tortured FLs surrounded by very toxic obnoxious trashy characters makes you so very very Angry & Frustrated that you either have to yell at the writing, rage-quit, hate-watch: Violette/I Swear I Won't Bother You Again! or Illya/My Fiancé is in Love with my Little Sister? Both FLs and their family + people are so........... It's very painful and hard to watch/read.... As a Reader that consume such torture you have to be someone who is somehow addicted to Misery Porn
