In the last chapter of the main story:

MC returns to the palace for her birthday and is greeted my the mistress of the palace Jeanne Antoinette who is Duchess of Vintimille. She is designing the most fashionable dresses for nobles and her dream is to be remembered in history as a designer and not as a king’s mistress. She’s friends with MC.

MC is turning 19, she’s been married to ML and became a countess (which could be the mtl mistranslation because ML was a baron in the beginning and becoming the head of his father’s household he should be the marquess). MC is happy leading a calm life outside of the capital and not participating in social activities.

Also apparently Clovis (ML) is on good terms with with his half-sister Blanche. She plans to leave for another kingdom and ML has allowed it but doesn’t really want to let her go because she is his only family and he wanted her to stay by his side.

ML’s father was apparently labeled as a traitor and ML is now the head of the household. Blanche doesn’t feel good staying in their kingdom because of her father’s label. But it looks like her mother is alive, because she mentioned that she’s discussed her moving with her mother. Blanche is also friends with Jeanne, so I suspect the king’s mistress is quite young.

The crown prince is someone called Louis. His mother Duchess of Orleans is said to have become the most high ranking woman in the royal court, but Jeanne is still the mistress of the palace. From the mtl it looks like they all get along well. It is not clarified how the new crown prince is related to MC, probably he’s one of the distant relatives as far as his mother is a duchess.

MC’s father is only thinking about MC’s happiness, the last chapters don’t show his interactions with the mistress or any lovey-dovey moments. MC says she wants her father to be happy and he is thinking how MC looks like his deceased wife and that he’s happy to see her being happy.

On MC’s 19th birthday she and ML promise each other to be together in the next life too.
