Rejoice, no one knows why, but dungeons appeared in the world.

There is a system too, but to obtain a chance to get it, you have to clear the first floor of a dungeon, not just kill one monster, but clear the floor.

• To clear the floor, just reach the room with the ladder, gate to the next floor.
  
• There could be slimes, horn̶y̶ed rabbits, rats, bats (covid free)
  
• You probably won't die, but you will certainly get hurt and if you are unlucky you could lose a hand or other.
• You don't have to kill all the monsters in the floor, but you will certainly face them more than once.

The chance to get system is 50% (you can try 1 per month to get the system)

Well, I'm sure we've all read enough of this genre to know that when this happens to the world, society will quickly fall into the "Might Makes Right" meritocracy. So it's best to start early and hope you'll get lucky as soon as possible.

 

Eventually, not trying will endanger my life more than doing the trial a hundred times over. So yah, I'd grab a sturdy shovel and try my luck until I succeed or die.

 

And speaking of which, if you die while making your attempt, then hey, game over. You don't have to worry about it anymore.

I live in America so I think I could clear it without a scratch, just gotta pick up some guns from Walmart then EZ CLAP. Also, love how you specified the bats are COVID free lol, if they weren't I'd have to buy a hazmat suit as well lmao

Does the system come with youth or extended life and health? I'm 52 and not great health, but if the payoff is big enough then yes. A system that just lets me fight better as I get closer to a retirement home is pretty close to useless. Well, unless I want to beat up the other old guys in the retirement home, and steal their women I guess.

 

All we know is what is stated there, being the first gen of system users, it will up to that first gen to try to uncover anything else.

 

Well, as they say: when you get a system with a character sheet that shows all of your stats and statuses, then you'll finally know exactly WTH is has been wrong with yourself. Hopefully, you'll survive long enough to allocate some new points to make up for your deficits.

 

With human nature the way it is, it's not really a choice. People either go down that hole for a chance to determine their own fate or surrender to the whims of whatever comes out of the dungeons.
