I’ve explained it in one of the previous posts. They were both in disguise, Samuel as a magic artifacts shop owner (his hobby), MC as some big top owner (black haired lady). She came to his shop a few times as a customer and taught him how to unleash his magic powers with some rare moth. It worked for him, and Samuel was very grateful and also admired her wisdom and her business approach. Soon he has realized that she’s actually the princess in disguise and was happy to be engaged to her because admiration has grown to love. MC only did it so that her alter-ego (the top owner) has connections with Samuel as a future master of the magic tower. She knew that he’ll eventually learn about the moth and will become a powerful wizard anyways, so she has used the info to cure his issue and make him indebted. MC didn’t think he would recognize her and as of the latest manhwa chapter it looks that she still hasn’t realized that he knows her real identity.
