Keep it a secret. If its too much to handle, I'll still keep the fact that everyone knows the secret but everyone kept quiet about it, and doesn't know that every one knows the secret except for me. Its kinda funny thinking about it.

As agonizing as it is, I would still choose to keep it. If I reveal it it would just be passing the heavy load to one person to another. Its just like what she did to me. After lying to us for almost 10 years about it, she managed to finally say it out loud and let me 'carry the burden' with her. Her words "You know our situation right? You're the only one I can count on." is still haunting me. The amount of times it was used against me, the piercing words from her mouth, the times I let myself be misunderstood so that the situation doesn't get any worse and turn my already hard life into hell...One too many. I still remember that thought, two years after I found out, after another difficult day I suddenly thought, "So this is what they meant by obliviousness (ignorance) is bliss." I looked at the people who still managed to laugh and be happy everyday because they didn't know the truth and think to myself how wonderful it would've been if I was like them. But thinking about the fact that I'd live not knowing this disturbing fact and still thinking of him as an inspiration makes my skin crawl. Its fine this way. I don't need him. I survived just fine almost my entire life without him. All he did was make my life harder even in his absence. Spoiler So all I can say is fuck you you damn father. I hate you but I also dont. I mean you're my father after all. But please, for the love of everything I've been through don't come back into my life and throw it into chaos again because at that point I'm not even gonna have enough energy to get mad at you anymore I'd be so tired I would just directly log out of this world.
