What if you lied to someone to protect their feelings? Is a lie still considered bad if you have good intentions? *curious*
It depends on the lie and the importance of the truth. If you lie with the intent to protect someone's feelings, you'll have to take accountability if the lie leads them somewhere worse than had you told them the truth. White lies by definition arent really important tho
Personally, I’d lie in the beginning and than stage the right words and moment. That’s the ideal, but normally I’m just honest because keeping up a lie is impossible. It’s better in the long run to be sincere
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and that tells you all you need to know... namely, hell can't be as bad as it's made out to be if it has paved roads leading to it.
Even if you did lie, No lie lasts forever unfortunately (’-’*) No one wants anything hidden from them (esp if it involves them) and If they found out by themselves later on instead of you telling them they'll be even angrier. If someone lied to me about something concerning me and my safety (physical, emotional, or mental safety) I don't think I'd be very happy. I'll understand later on that you had good intentions but a lie is a lie and it'll add that strain
Well, if you lie, you have to make another lie to cover the first.. and in the end, you will be a liar (。•́︿•̀。) Maybe first you can lie about something small, but how if the lie makes it worse, much worse than you can imagine (Ò﹏Ó) So you have to be careful on what are you gonna lie about
