I suddenly thought of a fun game we could play. Build a yarn is a nice game to play to kill time. Here's how the game works. Someone would say a sentence. Then the other person would continue ahead of the sentence. Slowly but surely a story would get formed. I played this with my cousins in family chat and we added each other's name in the story. It ended with my youngest cousin gobbling up the chocolate house of an evil witch, me and my brother ending up in jail and my older cousin helping aliens with world domination. Yeah it was a hairy story. So let's start on with the story. Here's my sentence: It started as a normal Tuesday . (Continue from this sentence.)
That day, Australia declared war on the Emu Race, but who would have thought nothing would go according to plan.
Surprisingly or unsurprisingly enough, in the war between the bipedal races, arms were widely employed.
But no arms effective enough to stop them, with how fast they run even the experienced sniper has a hard time for headshots.
At first glance people are happy the Emu seems to disappear but got replaced with horror when they realise the minority of Emu somehow survive and some of them evolve into EMUZILLA, with giant bodies and capable to shot charged plasma beam
In the days and nights thereafter, you could feel a palpable fear in the Australians and see the terror in their eyes when even fleeting shadows and muted whispers were capable of casting a spell to petrify all who came too close.
The Australian government were soon taken over by Emu or rather EMUZILLA. The world was thrown into a frenzy. The EMUZILLIANS went on to establish their own country. Yet there greed was insatiable. For they now had a new objective, the world domination. Oh who could ever stop them. Remember one should never mess with an angry EMU.
But the citicens of japan were not terrified, for they had seen worse, atrocities not be discussed not be brought to light again.
The Japanese called their super secret weapon. No not the nuclear weapons. It was a super secret army of Ninjas. The whole world was astonished. The japanese were really hiding deep. But could this army of Ninjas stand up to the evolved EMUZILIANS?
omg glass did you have to spin your yarn this dark <.< Of course not, because it wasn't their true super secret weapon. Japan's actual ace in the whole was a super secret army of Ninjas piloting experimental mecha technology.
The EMUZILIANS were really put in a corner. They were on a losing side. Just when the world thought that it would be all gone for good and humanity would be saved , a unexpected factor arrived. It was the evolved penguins, evolving into PEGUINANAS, that helped the EMUZILIANS. why? It was because of their deep hatred towards humans who's climate change destroyed their natural habitats. Unfortunately Japan could not hold on under their joint attack. What would happen now that the EMUZILIANS and the PEGUINANAS joined force? Can humanity survive?
They moved on... On to the next person they could find, onto the next plane they could enter, onto the next phase of life
But the penguins, set on revenge, followed them everywhere, for the humans had placed them in cages for all of their young to see and to not paint those cages in a bad light, they called those cages "zoos". Tormented through generations, the Peguin race was hellbent on revenge, thus, they followed the humans everywhere, until every last one of them had finally died, the Penguin race was victorious, and they could finally rest...
But now a even bigger problem arised. With the humans out of picture, there was nothing to hold EMUZILIANS and PEGUINANAS together. As the saying goes, one mountain can't hold two tigers. Soon, they began to fight each other, to dominate upon other. They were bloodthirsty. And unbeknownst to them, an even bigger problem was waiting for them, hiding amongst the shadows. It was a human teen, the last surviving of its kind, hellbent on revenge.
