Google stadia will be shutting down soon, I think in january 2023, refunds will be issued to everyone who purchased games and dlc etc.
I would like to express my joy at seeing some enterprise of that demonic corporation dying, but I have no idea what that even was
Google stadia in itself was a good idea, but the whole idea was that any device can play games (you know all those android tvs out of box). To limit their service like that was pretty much self sabotage.
I think I've heard Stadia, I'm sure the last article I read tells about the development..... How many years ago is that? Looks like I missing a lot for ..... Wait! I don't miss anything, who cares about this thing, i don't need it
If something like stadia becomes the mainstream norm in the future, I might drop gaming altogether. Yea, I'd like to have even less rights to games I pay for than before, no thank you. I shit on its metaphorical grave.
What even is google stadia ? At least refunds would be given out , hope it's auto and not on request + paperwork
well effitivly it was dead since more than a year ago back than killed by delayed games and a rather poor policy choices concerning game purchases accompanied by a kind of paper launch that didnt matter much since the games werent ready either funniest thing about this stuff is that google killed it without telling the developers beforehand
