Spoiler: Chapter 191 Chapter 191 The Allied Alliance is moving into Darund. They were greeted by a warm welcome by the madam of darund castle. SHe told them to rest there as long as possible. But Riftan firmly said that they were only there to restore the relic. The paladins ushered the chest containing the relics into the gate leading to the castle. Madame darund thanks them for keeping their promise to return the relic. But the paladin didn't say anything and just kept his cool. The soldiers camped outside the castle. Max got off her horse to take rem to the stable. But riftan intercepted her and ordered the servant to take care of the horse. He puts maxi on her shoulder and goes to the hall to eat. SHe ate with all the high ranking knights of the allied alliance. The next day they left darund. Max went by carriage and the other day she rode horses. SHe had passed through Syria, then along the Gillian Canal, until she came to a large city. SHe was happy that she had finally completed the mission but she was also worried about what might happen in the future. The gate is opened. Everyone greeted by shouting: Rossem uigru de calypse. Max was surprised to see thousands of people welcoming them. The women threw flowers and music sounded in the houses / buildings (This reminds us of the time when riftan was welcomed in Anatol when they finished killing dragons 6 years ago). Max looked at the welcome with pride. A little girl passed her knight and gave maxi a large bouquet of flowers. "May God bless the red-haired woman". Max accepted it happily. Max realized that a lot of people were watching her especially since she was wearing a RDK's robe. She covered her hair with her hood but it looked like she was already recognized. Maxi kept her head down because she wasn't used to being the center of attention. Sidina says that max has nothing to be ashamed of because they won't know their fate without max's golem. The humble Max said that they fought together. Max felt that she had done nothing. Without calto, besmore wouldn't be able to survive. All wizards also help make the golems. Soldiers guard the walls of Besmore so she can concentrate on work. SHe felt that the ones who deserved credit were the dragon subjugation soldiers. It was a shame to hear inappropriate praise and exaggerated songs devoted to her. When the holy knight army entered, the crowd turned to shout: rossem uigru de leon. Likewise when the Volose and Phil Aaron soldiers entered. Some women gave the knights garlands around their necks and gave them embroidery with their names on them. When the trumpet sounded, they finally arrived at the osiris grand sanctuary. The high priest Lugias and several monks welcomed the riftan. So you don't have to worry about max. Max then went to rest to Rome's palace like I know. We feel anxiety about golem magic because we see it from the maxi's point of view. remember that maxi has been a victim of violence, so she likes to worry too much. But Ruth and the others don't think it's a problem. It would be very different if this was told from Ruth's or Agnes' point of view, maybe there wouldn't be any anxiety about this
I also wonder how if Darund were being attacked by dragonians again, would Lady Darund be able to handle it? Maxi is definitely not a selfish Countess. However, she must trust Lady Darund's abilities and power. I bet Lady Darund is able to overcome dragonians' attacks this time I also hope Kim Soo Ji will tell maybe a bit bout' Darund's next situation. Hmmm, I guess we are worried coz' everything is based on Maxi's POV. I assure the situation will be different if the POV is from Riftan or Ruth. Everyone, except Maxi seemed confident and peaceful when they left Darund to Osyria.
I wish the golems would appear again since there is possibility that the council might wanna see how the golems look or probably it's just me who just wanna let everyone see how badass the golems Maxi created
But if returning the relic to its origin was at high risk for darund, then kuahel would definitely inform the mistress of the castle. so the mistress of the castle will consider continuing to keep it in her castle or give it to osyria. Yes, but that didn't happen. There are always possibilities, even if it's the worst. Although it is said that only 8 albino dragonians can resurrect dragons (and even then, you have to find the mana stone again), but the possibility of evil still exists. But it seemed like it was a small possibility since even the high knights were underestimating the escape of the remaining dragonians. After all, the allied alliance's job was only to kill dragons. And then Maxi shows the little golem figures and everyone wonders how the little things could do so much damage. I would like to see everyone's faces.
@Ames2021 and @kim rabbit, countless thank you for your spoiler. Both of you are angels And @kim rabbit, I agree with you, it's Maxi's POV which makes us as worried and anxious as her. Except her, none of the Allied Forces thought bout' how if the dragonians attacked Darund castle again, in the future. I guess it's same with last Friday or Tuesday chapters when she was worried coz' felt that the golem formula notes might be lost. Although, she finally brought all of them. Same with @Lizaa, ...hope Kim Soo Ji would explain at least in a few paragraphs bout' the aftermath of Darund's Castle
I think Maxi is going to Rome Palace because she's part of the RDK not WT anymore She is wizard of RDK, same as Ruth
Please, Kim Soo Ji, no more war against either dragon or human. You, yourself have also confirmed this is definitely the last war. I assume Quahel and his Holy Knights will definitely guard the manas, carefully after all of the stressful battles and wars.
But, I don't wanna Maxi is being targeted by the 7 countries coz' of her golems. Riff will surely die coz' of anxiety. She's better not to talk a lot bout' the golems.
About the dragonians.. i remembered Gabel told Maxi the Allied Forces' responsibilities is just to protect the holy barriers and kill the dragon. If there are remaining dragonians or monsters found in any kingdom, then it become the responsibilities of that kingdom's authorities and army to get rid of them, unless the 7 Kingdoms summon for Allied Forces reinforcements.
Thank you for the info, Ames. And, I completely agree with both of you and @kim rabbit, let's they take care of their "local monsters and undeads". Furthermore, their kingdom is their own responsibilty not Osyrian Church, 7 Kingdom Council and Allied Forces, isn't it?
Dont worry about it. Almost 100% of the Allied Forces armies commanders are on Maxi's side. She wont be in trouble i promise
this is my personal taste. But I like the ending of the novel like this, realistic and not cliché. Maybe we can't expect an ending like the story of Cinderella or Snow White with its flagship words "happily ever after". Because there are still some obstacles or threats that I'm sure can be overcome. Such as the political conflict that will be passed when riftan becomes a count, and so on. So far, everything has been resolved (except for riftan's confession about their childhood) though not with a guarantee that things will last forever in peace. But at least the two of them live in harmony and are loyal to each other until the end
