Hey there! I'm looking for a 90's to early 2000's Chinese period drama where two women are set to wed. One woman, seen as more selfish, is supposed to marry a man who is considered an idiot, and the other woman, who is considered kinder, is to marry a man who is considered wealthy and/or scholarly. The palanquins get switched (I think on purpose), and the selfish woman gets to marry the scholar, and the kinder woman gets stuck with the idiot, but she starts to accept it, and we find out that there's more to his story (I think he has a brain injury from an accident), and that the rich/scholarly man is a con artist. I don't remember much but would love to re-watch it!
