Thx, I'm going to be honest, it might be the weakest or one of the weakest reverse harem I've ever seen based on the comments and spoilers I read.
Theon didn't love her,and probably doesn't in the story timeline, or just not enough.
Stefan, while he is the cute and gentle one,has one of the probably very used male lead candidate but friendzoned or just bff.
Ethan is really the only one who did something and try to win her heart.
If I'm correct and based on some comments talking about the ending.

Theon gets the something heart and becomes the king?
Possible implications of Theon ending up with Lucia, but nothing really so far,because the ending and side stories are just about Ethan and Dorothy, and the author decided to just not write about the other characters.

 

Not a real spoiler about the dad's ending since I am not finished with the novel (I am reading it in a private Spanish group) buuuuut...

Spoiler: The King

During the ball, Ethan uses the Light Spiritual Stone (a national treasure of the royal family that has a close connection between the royal family and the very first light spirits but that was lost 100 years ago) so that Dorothea appears like she can contact the spirits now.

Thanks to this, her father starts to show more "interest" towards her but he still favours her brother Raymond. And so far no sign of him being remorseful.

I think she is the pink hair girl, it was a happy ending for all the characters,so he is probably what I said, neither he is evil or certainly comparable to other trash ex husbands,each character is unique and complex.
If it's true then it's honestly better than the king and queen ending,which are almost all the romance fantasy novels.
I don't think he is someone who deserves to be with Dorothy,but I don't understand the hate,he didn't end up with her and wasn't a villain or some kind of final boss.

 

im fine with fl not being a queen but i cant with the ex husband get all the glory, ik he isnt as trashy as another but how he takes advantage of fl feeling as she is in love with him just to get the spirit inside him maintained, and maybe ill accept it if they wrote a marriage contract before and fl is aware of this condition

 

No,it's not his fault that she loves him, seems like his own goal was just to be near her, I don't think he was thinking she might or might not love him or how much she loved him.
He just took advantage of her,so what,the one you have as your profile picture is an expert at using and manipulating other people,all the bad bosses queens are just the same but with edginess,at least this guy isn't an edgelord.
It's not the end of the world just because some character uses another character,happens all the time irl and in romance fantasy novels.

 

so u do admit he took advantage of her, fl's live is misrable as it is, as someone who knew about it and still took advantage of her, i cant forgive him. if u can easily forgive people like that than so be it. and about medeia, that story has diff genre than simple historical romance, its more of political, and manipulating thingy is the basis of the politic

Honestly, I'm at that point where I get tired from the "LET ME KNOW HIS ENDING COZ HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE HAPPY" mentality. I don't give a flying f**** about how they're gonna die or how they'll end up. If our girl is downright indifferent, I think that would be the best outcome.

What I wanna know is does she get to live the life that she wants? And, by all that is good and pure, does her brother change and become aware of her isolation at home? Coz, dammit. I hate ignorant snowflakes in stories. (does ignorant snowflake even make sense?)

AND, I would kindly and respectfully like to request for others to please PLEASE stop giving out titles to other similar stories. Instead, spoilers would be great.

 

I wonder if by a twist of fate, the FL ends up being queen again but this time she becomes a wise and beloved queen. Can anyone spoil that part please?
