So is it just me that i'd happy for the ML (Almondite) to be the endgame?
Yeah many readers prefer the knight (tristan) cuz he understand, cared, bla, bla, bla for the FL, but doesn't the ML also though? He cared way more than anyone, but he's kindda behind & late with the information regarding FL that's why people see tristan is more caring. So that's why i disagree with most people
And you can't blame FL for choosing ML, from the begining she had choosed him but becuz the misunderstanding ocestrated by evil people (the useless mother and the duke) she's hurt and in denial so she pushed ML away.
So i'm 100% satisfied with the ending

How come her mother hated Llewelyn, because she reminded her of the king, but not Alpheus? Is Alpheus not the king's son either?

 

Spoiler: Delphina and Alpheus

Alpheus is the king's son. Delphina wanted to start over and Llewelyn remind Delphina about her unwanted marriage with the king, and while it was the same with Alpheus, he was born years later so I guess things died down for a bit when he was born.

And while it wasn't mentioned what she truly thinks about Alpheus, she did treated him well, but imo it was like...because that's her son, so she had to take care of him out of duty, not because she genuinely love him, it was the same with Llewelyn. For example, when Alpheus came to find his mother, she acted like a poor, pitiful woman to gain her son sympathy and push him against Llewelyn, knowing damn well it will provoke him and his action will put himself in danger, they both got jailed after he slapped Llewelyn and she didn't even regret nor reflect her actions. And when she left Alpheus to go back to Thessaly, she didn't even apology for what she did to him (erased his memory, brainwashed him), no sadness, no regrets, all she think about is go back to her kingdom asap.

 

You are not alone. Out of the 3 MLS i dislike the priest the most because he took advantage of her situation to satisfy his lust. He kinda manipulated the fl into having sex with him. Only later on he got interested in her , then fell in love and decided to help her .
I know everyone loves the second ml, i like him too but his character and their story arc is a bit boring to my taste . Like i get it that he is the ultimate sweetest, loyal guy who stands up for her everytime but i don't see much spark between them.
Coming back to the Duke, i like it when there is angst in the plot. Character growth, redemption etc. I am a sucker for those (ofcourse not talking abt those leads who are beyond repair. Here atleast he is a decent guy so i can still forgive him unlike that priest). I really like it when the lead couple are surrounded with conflicting emotions.

PS: As for this manhwa , i have an extra reason lol. Black haired male leads are my weakness and the webtoon art is soo pretty.

 

I just now read it's chapter 23 and I finally understand why Duke is ml lead. It's goddamn visible that she likes him too and during their first time she was smiling so beautifully and both of them completely looking like a couple.As for Tristan I just Dunno why in Manhwa upto now I don't see a single bit of romantic spark between him and MC .For priest it was evident that it was mainly for sex nothing else ,MC Don't have a single romantic interest towards him .For Duke I can totally understand why after whole truth come out she forgive him and they ended up together .I like them as a couple and they look very beautiful together.

Ps- anyone Don't come after me because of my this post cuz I like Duke as a ml .It's my preference and it's my opinion.

 

Same here. just came back after reading ch 23 and i was smiling al the time. all i have to say is that he may be a dummy , a bit clumsy and not smart like the knight but we love him for that, i am sure fl does it too. He will probably be shooting puppy eyes towards her in the future. And i know fl would find him extremely adorable. I guess under the influence of that curse, she forgot abt her resentment towards him and her actual repressed feelings came out when they were making love. All she needs is some more time and the truth. Fl respects and appreciates Tristan's company but in their case it seems more one sided

I know Duke is not as perfect as knight but c'mon he is not bad ,as you already mentioned he's clumsy and all , knight is quite quick but this is not a criteria for ml lead and mc likes Duke that's the main point here.Knight guy is like her protector but Duke seems like her lover .

As for the priest he basically a side character who is there only to help the MC break the curse (so i don't really paying attention to him) and the way he'd claimed to help the MC by snu snu away. It's fine though cuz i only cared about what matters and how it ends LOL.

So in upcoming chapter i feel so blessed, and people who shipped ML will also to.
The artist will visualize their snu snu time (from early chapter) so beautifuly and magicaly and they'd had the best snu snu of their lives (their's first ever). But not so sure about the MC pov cuz she still under cursed while doing that though

How many times will FL do snu-snu with other men leaving ML. She had done once with priest, will she do it again with him.

 

I think she did it once with everybody except the ml

 

Twice with Ernell (first one we already saw and later at the later half of the story) and three times with Tristan (first one after Lewellyn orders him to strip, second one inside a cave, and last one where MC tries to distance herself from Tristan and tries to sleep with a male courtesan but Tristan kicks the guy out and confronts her about it) , if I remember correctly. Story is mostly focused on plot, so the smut is pretty spaced out.

 

So the second time she does it with the duke , is it again against her will ?because I believe she won't forgive him easily

 

Nah I don't think so because she already shows signs of forgiving him even thought there wasn't much to forgive she was just ignorant of what happened but in the recent translated novel chapters they are cool

 

What happened to her younger brother? I remember him being mentioned in some chapters about the things thay happened after her mother's death but the manhwa didn't tell yet if he's dead or just got taken away

 

Lol sorry guys but this Tristan guy failed to be her potential husband the ML was the only one how was willing to die with her while this Tristan guy wanted to kill her like a mercy killing he failed in my eyes if your not willing to die for the one you say you love than your not the one for her I think he confused love with pleasure from sex and desire of her body not because he truly loved her.
Not to mention he’s supposed to be her escort knight he’s job is to die for her if need be if he loved her so much why didn’t he jump in the magic bubble of fire or whatever was happening to her but he chose to kill her instead while the ML didn’t care he was willing to DIE with her.
I’m telling your what this Tristan guy felt was more like possessive desire of her body maybe a bit of affection but not true love and I can tell he not right in the head when he sees her children with the ML as his own that screams possessiveness.
