my cousin plays the guitar and the piano so. I used to play the violin and piano also, not the same but still; keys and strings.
Piano transfers well to other instruments but it depends a little on how you were taught. If you learned how to read notes properly you can apply that skill to any other instrument. I learned piano and violin but didn't have any issues trying out cello or viola. Guitar tabs are a bit hard for me to read but it's like anything else, put in the work and you will be able to learn it. Playing guitar with a band is very different from playing piano alone or with an orchestra, though. If you learned to play from classical music you probably mostly learned technical skills like fingering and how to read music. None of the bands I've had experience with play from sheet music, their members play by ear and riff off each other. That might be what your teacher means. It's a bit hard to say though, they may just not want you to divide your attention between two instruments.
No. I played the piano, guitar and other string instruments in high school. Its mostly because pianists need to have their fingers in good condition rather than any transitioning. Having thick skin on fingers are common in guitarist while pianist have soft skin in their fingers. (Just based on my opinion)
Since both instruments usually need both hands to play they would be hard to play at the same time. Lol
So i have a keyboard And i need to bring it to the class how do i bring it So i just need to bring the keyboard?
