    Imagine ~
You've read a really nice novel
    ~ Time Passes ~
You remember about this really nice novel that you read and want to read it again or to recommend it to someone
You can not remember the title
You look through your bookmarks, lists and think hard about where you read it

    • If you remember the tl group you can look at their page or ask them
    • You might post a notice in the " Forgotten Titles Section"
    • It was definitely an MTL and your lost
    • Or would you just give up and hope that the thought of the novel goes away or that you remember it another day
    • Filter throught tags and genres
I usually try remembering where I read it or look through my bookmarks and lists, if it's urgent aka I really want to read it, I might ask in forgotten titles but there's no guarantee otherwise I'll just ignore it and keep it as a jolly memory

    What would you do ?

I'd usually go by the genres to check but if all else fails and I only remember bits and piece's of the plot I will set up a forgotten title post.

A post in the forgotten title section, the more heads the better when it comes to searching for things on the internet. I'd also skim through the tl group to see if the titles they translate trigger any memories

Go to “I looking for..” and tell them all the details. You can also ask for things that aren’t translated so you can mtl the story yourself. Great sub-forum.

I go all out. I can't stand that feeling of trying to remember something and it's just not there.

On the other hand, I keep a spreadsheet of all the novels I read (or plan to read), so it's hard to forget a novel to the point where I can't find it again. I guess it could happen with something I read before I started the spreadsheet, or something that for some reason never made it onto the spreadsheet (which admittedly does happen).

If it's worth reading, I wouldn't have forgotten it.

I'm pretty familiar with tags and genre's, so it isn't too hard for me to find a novel I know but don't read for other purposes too

Not much... I mean, if I suddenly remember something and want to read it again or something, I may try looking for it, but if I can't remember, then I can't remember. It was forgotten and that is that.

To be perfectly honest, if I forgot about it, I probably won't remember that I forgot about it lol
But most of the time I have the opposite problem, I see a title that looks super familiar and I think to myself, "I'm pretty sure I've read this one before", so I start reading it only to realise I have indeed read it before, but I forgot almost everything about it!

Filter, cuz I read from raw sites. A few years ago, I wasted a lot of time finding back titles I needed. And now, excel is my best friend, and I keep the list in the cloud.

Whenever I’m looking for a novel and I can’t remember the name, tags are the first and foremost thing I head to. If that doesn’t work then maybe I’ll dig through my bookmarks. Most of the time I’m able to find it but when I can’t sometimes I’ll write a post with little hope to finding it. In situations where I remember but can’t find it, I usually go to the TL group I remember translating it, if I can’t find it I’ll look for or write a post asking about the novel.

Still now I haven't come across any that I couldn't recollect or get from the forgotten threads.

It's the freaking games I've forgotten and lost totally. Quarter of my childhood gone :blobsad:

Well, in my case, I would ignore it at first until I start craving to read the book again then that's when I'm starting to find the story, oftentimes, I would search in my history, bookmark is not really necessary to as I don't really use them, or I'll just find them by posting in a forums.
