After a bit over 2 decades the Ashe's run with the pokemon animes, coming to a close It's pretty weird since I haven't really watched the anime in almost 10 years. I still remember vividly watching the first few seasons as a kid and watching the movies with friends and all. The animes gonna continue but Ash is finally retiring. I guess there's not really much you can do after becoming a grand champion with the recent couple episodes. At that point, you can't really have him stuck as an eternal 10 year old and having Pikachu lose to the new regions starters and whatnot. It only took 1220 or so episodes. Well, I am curious hoe they're gonna go do with the next season with a new cast of characters. Whether Pikachu and Ash may make a cameo or play a bigger role and all. I might actually give the past season a try when I'm bored since I heard the championship was hype from friends
... wait is Ash finally growing up? This is very saddening after seeing 10 ? year old ( wasn't he 14 ? ) Ash staying 10 for 10 years ... I've not watched any of the new seasons... I wonder who's gonna replace Ash as the Pokemon protag ... I just hope that it's no too bad .. the mystery of Ash's dad ... All those unanswered questions will remain a mystery But I guess that power creep can only go so far ... Remember the time where Mew and MewTwo were the most powerful ? Yeah that's why I left off
I think it's about time they decided to go for a new cast, and doing it after Ash becomes the World Champion seems like a good choice~ And yeah, I haven't watched most of the episodes in forever, but I've watched the final episode of the championship and the few episodes that came after... It's been fun~ Oh, they're still pretty broken, don't worry. Mew soloed a whole island of pokemon + pokemons of 5 trainers at the same time in a recent episode. And Mew was just laughing it off and playing around the whole time. Then Mew changed its mind at one point and decided to insta-heal everyone it had knocked out~ It was pretty fun to see how 5 trainers had no chance against Mew at all~
Well they finally ending it. Maybe the last 11 episodes would be a set-up for the gen.9 MC. Hoping they just make Ash older by the end like how Naruto was during his wedding. Boruto is still trash.
They will finally reveal that all this time ash is in a coma since pikachu electrocuted him on ep 2 and all his adventures are just dreams given to him by the mysterious blue bird pokemon....
Originally ash was 14, but that was a translation issue with the original series they made him older so when the new era came and suddenly ash was 10 it was confusing to us all that he got younger.
He's retiring but he looks like his age dropped from 15 to 12 with the change in art style still feels weird imagining the pokemon anime without him hope he appears in future seasons kinda like how red sometimes appear in the video games
I wonder what the new MC's personality will be like. Will they stick to the formula and make them a dumb, wide-eyed kid with grand ambitions and determination, like Ash? Or will they do a Boruto and decide they need to make the new MC the exact opposite of their previously successful MC? Or will they actually come up with an interesting new character? Who knows? Not me.
I think I will watch it. and I hope it's a better journey than Ash journey. I'll be waiting for it...
Wow! Conan's best friend is finally gonna graduate!!! I only watched the first 3-4 seasons but i think i'll watch the latest season. Need to watch it to complete one of my childhood's wish. (lol)
