Once upoun a time there was a billionaire, he had a hobby of reading mangas and novels. But eventually the billionaire could not read his favorite manga anymore because of language barriers. No one was translating his favorite manga Even when he asked people online to translate it for him, promising a good amount of cash, no one believes that he was really rich (let's be honest people online are not usually legit) And so he visited random sites to read his favorite manga. Just like that, he was reading the manga on a page where there were a lot of ads, ads like: This game is boring but you MUST play!!!. And Snapchat girls want to chat with you!! He ignored them ofcourse, he was smart But one day he saw a ad that piqued his interest. 'This billionaire was homeless , click to know what happened to him!!' "Hmmm" he thought, "What could possibly happen to someone on my leval to go bankrupt over night? Haha what an idiot!" Thinking so he clicked on the ad.. Sometimes later.... The homeless man stared recent fully at the passerbys He thought: Who was that bastard who put up that ad!!!!! So do you now know what happens to the billionaire who was homeless?
I tried voting TWICE before I realised Inhad accidentally logged out, so I signed back in as you can guess because this comment exists. Yes, I read stuff for free because I am cheap, but I also support the authors when I can.
If i have the ability to pay why not.. the only thing stopping me is payment options (i Don't have mastercard. But i do have PayPal, and other visa cards, yet i find it a hassle(me being lazy) transferring money to it or setting up an automated transfers so... effectively those cards have a ballance of 0) and also availability, i do want to buy a published version in english but those are rare...
He got reincarnated Anyway, I support some authors by buying their novel physical book (mostly at comicket) Since online payment in each countries is such a hassle. The only Chinese novel I support might be Lord of the Mysteries. Begged one of my Chinese relatives to sign up an account for me (since I can't read Chinese well enough for the life of me, but can heard or speak it like a native.) and donate about 10$.
Obviously the billionaire clicked on the add which isekaied/transmigrated them. Also I buy when I can. I'd rather buy from the original source then from an official translation. I'm not sure but I think the author gets more money that way.
He met a wonderful woman who took him to the cleaners to wash off him the stain of ill-gotten wealth... ?
I pay when I want, but it takes me a bit of effort to want to do it with the amount of hoops they make you jump before you can donate. If he/she made me jump to more than 3 pages then he ain't getting my money. it should just be 1 or 2 pages or there website should work with paypal so I can just pay in 1-2 steps. I remember donating to one book and it took me 8 pages or BS just to get to the payment screen I gave up.
Most nice novels are behind paywall now. I got to snack on dregs because I'm poor and occasionally there's good ones, so I'm fine. Well imagine your bills have a 1 and then 9 zeros but you can only buy a stick of chocolate with it.
He switched places with the homeless billionaire who also got switched with another homeless billionaire before him due to the ad, and so long as the ad and the billionaires coexist on this earth this cycle shall never end. Or He was stoopid and sent a billion dollars to a homeless ex-billionaire so he can be a billionaire again but now he's no longer a billionaire because he gave his billions to the homeless billionaire and now HE'S the homeless billionaire. I'm not a billionaire (yet hehe) so idk.
I don't get it. If he's a billionaire, what's stopping him from creating a publishing company to translate his favourite mangas? He has all the resources to acquire everything needed including the license and so on legally... Also, businesses often hire translators. There's no way he couldn't hire a personal PROFESSIONAL translator if he truly wants one, to do his bidding, translating those mangas privately. Even if he truly didn't know any good translator for hire who would speak no words of his employer, his connections definitely do. So, if that person's name is not 'billionaire' or 'a billionaire', I'm 99.9% positive that he was only dreaming he was one.
