Yes, sorry I can not remember exactly what just that it is in the thread and if you are to lazy to at least read the thread I am to lazy to find the quote. I do remember it is in a spoiler box somewhere in the thread at least.
It's funny at this point. @sjmcc13 just said before your post that the answer is in this thread at someone who ask the very same question. I know my answer is not really nice to read, but that really chocked me to see that question just after sjmcc13 answer.
Regarding the ml's "problem", the root of the problem is literally the grandpa.. its rlly sad that there is no real karma for him except him feeling guilty about it. Like dude, u created this wholeeee mess.
Ok for everyone with family trauma. Remember one of the traits of narcissism is pitting others against each other. They praise one sibling to the sky's in front of the other while over emphasizing the current ones faults. And then turn around and do the same in reverse. This is to breed hatred so the siblings never work together to stand up to the narcissist. So older siblings feel that they take all the burdens, but the younger siblings are constantly harassed/compared or never measuring up to their perfect older sibling. Both grow up thinking that the other had a charmed life because the parents loved the other when the truth is both were being constantly abused. What's funny is that in some cultures this is considered good parenting.
Can someone tell me what happens to that trash adopted family? Please tell me they get what they deserve.
Ending Spoiler: Main plot points FL ends up collecting 3 spirits (no one else can see the spirits) her mother had collected and stages a coup with the crown prince. The cousin who wants to be duke sides with Riel and the king to take down FL and ML. When they get to the castle, fighting happens between the king, knights, adopted trash dad and ML. Something in the castle prevented FL from using her powers so crown prince and a knight went to go fix it. Crown Prince kills the king and says it was a suicide cause he went insane. FL has a daughter and the church prophesies that she will rise to a position above king (she can see the spirits even though she isnt contracted to them). Crown Prince now king end the final chapter asking his knight if he should watch his asset(or something like that) or get rid it out right. He tells someone to tail the daughter at all times and not let the FL or ml find out. Guess making stupid decisions that end in your downfall run in the family.
still confused about Riel's obsession with the FL. it's doesn't sound like she's jealous its seems like she only wants the FL to be alone and be by her side all the time?
Yeah, indeed. She wants her big sister taking care of her like she did before. She isolated her in the house, in school, and she only seduced her first fiancé because she wanted him to agree for her to continue taking care of her when she is married. She also takes a sick pleasure to feel superior to her.
She’s jealous of MC’s status and this is why she wants MC to be beneath her as a caretaker (something a servant or slave would do), never marrying to get love and support, never finding out about her real status to get it back. I think her obsession was very clearly described in the novel in the chapter where she as a child accidentally found out MC’s real status. She’s not a twisted yandere, she’s just jealous.
