I met someone who doesn't know it. So I'm curious if there's anyone else who doesn't.

I've seen pictures of spam on the internet, I imagine it probably taste like bologna but a lot greasier.

I've heard of it, never actually seen it. It's not something I'd eat anyway. But I'll admit, for some good 20 years I had no idea it existed. And I still have no idea what it's supposed to be, only that it's supposedly made of pork?

Never tried it myself, but I've heard people mention it. What's it even made of? How does it taste?

My Philliphines friends taught me what Spam is before and even make a sect out of it.

I know about it, but never had the chance to eat it.

    Yes, but also... No.

I've actually been to the official spam museum on a cross country trip across the states. Pretty important ration for WW2. As others have said, it's is just processed ham stuffed into a can.
We like to slice it up, fry it with pineapple slices, cinnamon and nutmeg and serve it over rice.

People like this, people even use it for sandwiches I hear. The company that makes the iconic ones we see also keep the date of expiration up to date with each passing year.

"Good For 99 Years", eventually became, "Good For 100 Years!" :blobjoy:

AHHH! I CANT I JUST HAD TO. I WAS SO CURIOUS SO I CHECKED MY NOTIFS

Ok, as someone born and raised in Hawaii, we love SPAM. I was raised on it. But I hate fried SPAM. It makes my stomach nauseous because it gets too oily. Best thing to do with it is make musubi. Not fried spam musubi, but teriyaki musubi. Absolutely glorious when you make spam marinated and boiled in teriyaki. Boiling it with your instant ramen is amazing as well. Very filling.

And yes. I eat it right out of the can. I know how that sounds, but it's amazing to me. Eating it right out the can and with kimchi is perfection, especially with hot rice too.

OK IM DISAPPEARING NOW I VOW NEVER TO CHECK MY NOTIFS UNTIL IVE DEALT WITH MY PROBLEMS

I thought you were referring to spam emails. I was going to say no. Anyway, I've had it a few times when I was a teenager, but it was too salty for my taste so I stopped eating it and avoided pretty much most processed food. Then we traveled to Korea in 2019 and learned the Koreans made a less salty version. They add it to all sorts of food particularly the kimchi jigae one.
