If you had endless amount of money to build a house, what weird rooms would you add? Personally, I would build a HUGE "bedroom" where entire floor is a heated soft but firm mattress. A Grand Library Tower, with those weird bridges, containing countless amounts of Novela, with a cozy fire place, and a comfy chair with a tall back. Maybe also: Trampoline Floor Room Indoor Pool (heated and unheated) Hot Spring (Natural source)
Hobbit house complex. Like it looks like a bunch of hobbit houses on a hillside, but it's actually one big three story house with multiple entrances buried under a man-made hill. Inside, each room would have a different historical theme with an elevator that looks like a time machine. Edit: some highlights are: On the bottom most floor a indoor swimming pool that looks like a cave with cave art. A Victorian Gothic library. A cinema themed like ancient Egypt/the mummy. 1700's french rococo bedroom. A roman bath. 1920's bar and an 1950's atomic age kitchen.

I'd build a giant annex for books, floor to ceiling shelves with a skylight, the entire floor will just be white sheets and pillows, all scattered about so you can sit down anywhere to read once you've picked your book. A bedroom that is all just glass, every wall can be covered with curtains. Studio, with a lot of light, just for instruments and art and whatnot. And perhaps... an entire room for my cat.
I would love to get even half of those things. But I guess my dream place. Would be a little extreme. Location: A large peninsula with large plains leading to mountains. In the mountains lays a valley with a protected white beach cove. I’d like a few lakes and rivers also. The plains need to be between 100,000 acres to 10,000,000 acres. Right before the mountains lay a huge star fort with 80 ft tall concrete walls with a with of 40 ft. With a gate that slides from within the walls. A 20 ft moat. There’s only one 60 ft wide road leading through the fort. Through the mountains. Through the valley and finally to harbor. The valley mountain walls would be chisel out fantasy places. Like Elvendor, Hogwarts, Themyscira, Minas Tirith and many others. I would have at least 3 thorium molten salt reactors. 2 desalination plants. 2 plasma gasification plants. Underground facilities with a train. Just to name a few things if I had unlimited funds
I don't know about the room but I will travel all over the world maybe never come back to that room. I would want a big cozy room with warm colors, a big closet, massage chair , all kind of electronics I can get .

I'd actually just by a reasonably-sized apartment that I and my future children could live in. Bigger houses are harder to clean. It's better to keep them small.
