Anyone seen this godly work yet? This is a fucking masterpiece and the best thing to appear in recent years. It was so good I was literally crying by the end of the anime and I haven't done that since childhood. I dare say this is as good as Texhnolyze and the theatrical heavenly way every death is done truly reminds of it. There's been no better work for at least the three previous years and there won't be any time soon. Watch it, and if you thought it was meh you have bad tastes and can't see mount Tai!
Objectively, it is really good, but people may not like it. I for one did like it, but I still haven't watched the last two episode lol. The deaths were good and meaningful and until the 10th episode everything outside of the death of the Lagusa had a reason (though I don't remember if it was said why the Vanetti killed them, but maybe it is explained in the last two episodes. Maybe not)
Yes, someone finally agrees! It's not just drama, it's a really well done anime with a light hearted theme behind this revenge story. Every single music theme was fitting and really good, the way important scenes are handled couldn't have been done better. Maybe it can be blamed for being only twelve episodes and lackluster, but for something so short the realization could hardly have been any better. It didn't even have much budget, the impact being clearly seen in the animation, but it could still muster a good artistic direction all the way to the end. Yes it's explained. Spoiler Testa had to die because he knew of the Galassia and Vanetti's feud… Somehow idiotic but it fits the story, since it shows all these deaths as stupid and meaningless.
Couldn't agree more 91 days is a very well done show, it has excellent drama and characters, absolutely worth watching. --ps do you mean "Anyone Seen this godly work yet?"
ah no problem haha just thought that line might be a bit confusing otherwise Who's your favorite character from 91 days?
It's gotta be Avilio, I really liked his mindset throughout the series. He's obviously conflicted about all the things he's doing but he still maintains his cold killer facade and we can see really see his suffering in the last episodes. At the same time, Nero was really likeable too especially in the latter part where he's a lot more humanized and less focused on the family. I really liked the expression he showed when he read the letter which wasn't just flat rage or just shock, but rather a sorrow gaze. Some of the other characters were also really great but they didn't get that much screen time and aren't as memorable. The show was obviously meant for the two protagonists instead, though Corteo got his part too.
Avillio is a great character - any MC in a Count of Monte Cristo story is always awesome, revenge is just such an enjoyable motivation. Corteo is really the best, hes unquestionably the character with the purest heart - hes more of a victim to Avillio's revenge than any of the vanettis are - leaving and living like brothers with corteo was really avillios only chance for a happy life and the end of corteos story was absolutely the saddest part of the show I think Vanno is the most underrated - He was a great character I wish his story was longer both his personality and his actions were interesting - a romance arc between him and Fio wouldve really added to the story
