that's how it usually is. They will translate 1000000 chapters of some garbage tier wuxia/xianxia full of fillers but won't bother translating 300 chapters long interesting story.
I think the reasons behind that is actually that those better works are well written and thus require more linguistic ability from the translator. While those 100000 chapters long stories are literally repetitive trash. It must be easy to "get used to" translating that kind of story, rather than translating something meaningful. So the conclusion is this: people are too fucking stupid.
I looked up fan arts of the novel and there's usually this kinda straight-laced guy (typical long hair tied up a bit like a little bun with the rest flowing down, straight bangs, blue eyes) who looks like he might be from one of the righteous factions with the MC (not the webtoon version of MC who has bright pink eyes). Anyone have any idea on who that is? Thanks. Edited: I think I got his name now: 몽랑. Any spoilers on his relationship with the MC? They seem close, based on the fan arts.
Waaah i really hope someone tries to continue mtl-ing this on chapter 101 onwards cause the novel's finished already with 400 chapters
Nah you are the stupid one. Complaining that Chinese translators don't translate Korean novels is just dumb
True, sadly there are few and in hot demand. I have one who will quit soon for a much better job. I will be focusing on dropped novels with few chapters left so I can complete the novels. I will make a poll and ask readers if they want to be translate I am the Monarch https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-am-the-monarch/ Novels with 100 or less chapters are rhe way to go. Thanks for reminding me
I can't remember very well but he was one of the four demons along with MC and the doctor in his previous life. They're good friends (?) in this life P.S Spoiler: Identity He's the sex demon so he's from the demon cult
Are you being serious? hahahaha I talked IN GENERAL. Where the hell do you see there a mention of chinese translators ? The point was that that most translators prefer to translate easy and repetitive stories and common wuxia etc was just given as an example. Fucking retard, how dare you call somebody stupid when you can't even read properly ? Also spoken as if there aren't any korean novels like that with 1000+ chapters
That description sounds like Jin Sohan, the Mc from the author's other work, "A Dance of Swords in the Night".
