I would imagine this is fake especially considering the age in which sword and magic's are prominent but then again DD3 is a place that uses modern tech but still has a feel of old world so I can't be entirely sure. If Mecha is in it then it'll be 100% more interesting to pickup. I would also like to inquire about how is this novel so far? I've heard it's like WC just geared more towards an MC that actually cultivates the sword.
They have some kind of mechanical weapons fused with a martial spirit that you wear over your body , so is kind of a mecha ,but not as complex. And he doesn't use a sword xD ,at least not yet , he's a close combat expert , so he practices : fist , kick ,loop ,maneuvered and palm techniques. It's cool imo , not really original or anything , but the mc antiques are enterteining , he's basically a battle junky .
I haven't read the last 30 or 40 chapters but the MC doesn't cultivate the sword at all at the point I stopped. He is a close combat guy. In regards to mechas, there are mechanical things and specialists on it use armors which can be considered mechas.
UGoW is about a talentless man who is also hardworking (pretty generic). Unlike other novels tho, even though he gets some treasure, it's only something that helps him train rather than making him super op by doing nothing. The main character in this novel is super hard working but trains in the ways of close combat, not the sword. Close comabat includes stuff like fist techniques, leg techniques, finger techniques, etc. The story features mechanical warriors who wear something that looks like a suit(?) which increases power. There's also a martial spirit thing which is pretty much an A.I
There are mechs in the novel, but not in the traditional sense of sci-fi. More like mechanical exo skeletons of for the most part animals... not full on robotics especially since their power source is spirit based. The MC is a hand to hand combat specialist, their is also a spear user and a sword user among his ranks.
Not quite , more like when you reached a certain rank , you form a martial spirit (which has ranks bronze ,silver , gold) and as you cultivate it is also upgraded. It seems to not be useful in battle yet , but it helps to train faster and comunicate with star treasures or something. There's not Dragons , phoenixes or weird spirits . I imagine it's just a small version of the mc lol , not sure about it.
Its not mech but an ancient technology called mechanical weapon which is in a form of an armor (battlesuit), beast and stuff similar to that.. That ancient tech is currently being revived and upgraded by the mc and his crew but ive doubt it will reach a gundam like level.. Yeah mc's a close combat expert he use his body to fight, no sword.. Mc's pretty nice and straight-forward naive guy. his a readable non complex character. but then, when he enters battle mode everything change.. And he turn into a fighting genius wargod-like person Yeah and martial skill in this story are in a form of cards instead of books.. Martial spirit are like those too when they are not activated
i think its more like a suit of armor? i thought tang tian was going to become a hand to hand combat god? why would he swayed to sword?
This novel has various styles of martial arts, from sword, spear, barehanded, musical, bloodline, even mechanical weapon (not only ironman suits but also robots). Also, some weapons, armors, and treasures have 'spirit' inside it. The MC is a barehand... wait no, he uses some weapons but definitely not using a sword. Not going to spoil you what he uses, though.
The reason I said he used the sword was because I barely made it past the first chapter (he was practicing 1 set of sword moves for like a year or more) and dropped the novel to let it build. Didn't expect everyone to focus so much on that.... Though it is nice to see a MC that doesn't do long range battles or wield so many different weapons.
Two type of suit, traditional one dont have ai or martial spirit, new research made by mc mechanic start the new era of suit with martial spirit/ai
Mc is known as fundamental expert, just like in kindergarden when people learn the basic, but then when we further our study ,we will then become expert of certain knowledge only, but with the mc he choose to be close combat expert
If it's that small wouldn't battle suit or armor be a better term? i feel it's similar to iron man, starkid, the guyver to say the least. if the homeworld setting wasn't set to earth i would have thought DD3 was the prequel to skyfire avenue.
It's most definitely not an armor, as the machine has controls on the inside you can use to move it, and you have to train your machine piloting/control ability before you can be any good with mechanical weapons (lil'-mechas).
The mecha is like zoids.. I think it is really out of place.. It is uneeded and made the story a bit bad. Although I usually live mecha.. these mecha is one that I like to skip reading the most.. https://www.google.com/search?q=zoi...X&ved=0ahUKEwiy1vrEs_zPAhWMrI8KHbxcDIYQsAQIGw If you dont know what zoids are..
