    The nobles r allowed multiple wives for the sake of heirs but Locke is gonna be in a monogamous relationship so not counted as harem :coffee:

    Given the description of the Northlands, I can not see how Lorist has any military problems when his main convoy arrives.. I'm interested to see if this novel becomes an Kingdom building novel or stays a slice of life/action novel..

    I also don't understand how a couple forts manned by 40ish people each could stop information from being spread. I mean, why couldn't messengers just walk around them? especially given that 98% of the north is still underpopulated.

    I can't believe how good this got. I dropped this at chapter 23 because of all the flash backs, world building, no intresting plot, slow translation and suddenly it has become my favorite novel to read.
