Why It Should Get Picked Up
    :

I'm back with my second novel pickup request. My recommendation is Holy Ruins, a fantastic series--from the few chapters I've read so far--and also the number one ongoing xuanhuan on Qidian. The author has a style of prose that's rarely seen in light novel series. I've translated the first two chapters at https://bruintranslation.wordpress.com/ as a teaser, but I won't be able to give the series its due attention since I'm already translating another series. Here's to hoping someone else will be up to the task. If you need another reason, this novel will definitely be one of the more popular series once the story picks up.

Description (if you can find one):
    (Official translated summary):
To rise from defeat and revive after extermination. The azure ocean has turned into dust and the thunder and lightning has been exhausted. That wisp of quiet fog approaches Earth once again, removing the world’s fetters, as a completely new world begins to unravel the mysterious new chapter…

    (My summary):
The story follows our main protagonist, Chu Feng, and the story is set in our very own Earth, albeit in a not too distant dystopian future. After war has ravaged the lands, random phenomenon begin to occur with regularity, each time hailing turbulent changes in the world. After one such event, the borders between reality and fantasy became blurred, as gods and beasts from mythology started to appear on Earth, bringing about the next age of humanity.

Hmm... maybe a personal description would help? The original synapsis doesn't leave me optimistic, its very much standard, only the name sounds original.

Apparently, this series has been picked up already by Novitranslation under a different translated title, Sacred Burial Grounds. Two chapters have also been released and are available on NU.

I really can't speak for how the story will turn out, but the writing is definitely some of the best I've seen after reading and translating a number of series.

    True.
    But their translation sucks!

If it really is as good as @readingdigest says, surely it will need more attention.

ikr. It made it a turn off for me... All I would expect every time he meets a girl is rape, and then reasons justifying it.

Maybe if you stopped trying to be a smart-ass and actually looked at what I linked, you can find that Moe states that the series is up for grabs for any tlor who is interested. (Instead of them thinking it's an active project on NU)
