There is a big spoiler related to the father & daughter, shall we say. Doesn't justify his actions but it does give light to things. However, that tidbit won't come into play until about...2 story arcs later, so for now sit tight and hate him all you like. ^-^; As for her husband, he's currently off who-knows-where looking for those plants. Probably really hard to track him down.
I have a feeling that I'll still hate the father even after that spoiler later on but I guess I shall wait patiently for it~ honestly, right now I'm just waiting for the 'husband' to start acknowledging her and at least somewhat try to protect her... *sighs*
I also am waiting for the husband to come back from his plant tracking...he wouldn't want his wife to die before he gets healed right? Self preservation and all that ~

Hey do you know how she deals with the adopted sister and the grand concubine in the end? I don't mind if it spoils another plot, I just need to know how they are defeated in the end to continue reading this story, they just make me so angry. And also those horrible servants in their house specially that Gui mamma.

Spoiler The sister: lifelong coma Grand Concubine Yi: self-imposed house arrest Neither of them do much for the rest of the story as far as I recall. I think what stuck with me deepest was the fact that they dug their own graves, metaphorically speaking. Gui mama doesn't get much of a mention in the future, but eventually Han Yunxi gets control of the house...which means all the servants naturally yield to her by then.

For that matter, I'll categorize your answers from least to most spoilery in the tags below. Spoiler: How Many Chapters This won't come into play until around c207, 209+, but the buildup comes in the story arc before it. Spoiler: Reason for their state Uhh...okay this is a bit complicated so I'll try to summarize first. You can ask for more clarification after I finish this question. For reasons in the future, Murong Wanru plots to kill Grand Concubine Yi. To save her own life, GCY reveals a big secret to MW that leaves her shocked. Han Yunxi happens to walk in on them at the same time and overhears as well. Spoiler: Grand Concubine Yi's secret (MASSIVE SPOILERS HERE) Murong Wanru is her real daughter and Long Feiye is the adopted son. AKA MW should've been an imperial princess just like Princess Changping if GCY kept her. They were switched at birth so GCY could have a male heir for the throne to improve her standing in the palace. Before anyone can do anything, they're sneak attacked and MW gets hit by the brunt of the poison and knocks out. Fighting and stuff happens, Long Feiye appears, and Han Yunxi tells him about the shocking secret...but as it turns out, LFY already knows! He was only pretending not to in front of his mother. And he's done so much to keep it a secret that he's ready to kill HYX, MW, and GCY now that they've all shared it with each other. 1) HYX ends up bargaining for her own life because she says she can still be useful to him with her poison skills. (The feels, though. The feels for them on both sides...auuughhh..) 2) The poison that the enemy used on MW will leave her in a coma if not treated, so basically HYX doesn't treat her. It's the easiest way to keep her mouth shut. 3) As for GCY, HYX makes a deal with LFY to spare GCY's life because she doesn't want to kill GCY/be responsible for her death. She then meets with GCY privately and "threatens" to tell LFY her secret if she doesn't comply, basically forcing her to agree to house arrest. Keep in mind that at this point neither of the leads have committed to anything and LFY distrusts basically most of the world, including a bit of HYX. :')
Spoiler Since all that is around chapter 200s ish, and LFY still doesn't trust HYX much When does he come to fully trust her? And when does the story show signs of him falling for her?
*folds hands* Spoiler To be honest he's already allowing her to do a lot more than he would any other person (much less female) over the course of the story. Even before these chapters, they've had interesting interactions that's a bit of does-she does-he, which I found fun to read. You'll see lots of little signs, too...it's gradual buildup, but it's consistent gradual buildup, so the journey's just as important as the destination. There's basically something to gain from every chance they interact/talk together. But again, I would say the penultimate moment that he realizes and expresses this to the MC would be after c292 & 293. Then it's a nice steady progression from there (few obstacles notwithstanding). Another nice thing I like about this novel are the mutually devoted leads and the lack of drama over misunderstandings. They do exist, but it's not so bad that you're pulling your hair out...because the author keeps you guessing as to the MC and ML's true feelings. Heh.

Spoiler Hmm, there's two instances that come to my mind. The one referred to by that poster sounds a bit like 292/293 (aka threatening her not to leave), but that was by no means...a "light" kiss. Otherwise, I think they mean c196, where he more or else 'claims her' as his own. With a light kiss.
