    Well... Son goku is definitely based on Sun Wukong... But yes it is Sun Wukong from the series 'Monkey' just Google monkey magic. It is a great tv show, every person should see it atleast once (I thought the avatar was quite appropriate and probably recognisable for this site for reasons)

    Also there is a theatre play based on the show and if you ever get the chance to see it I suggest you take it. It is normally quite cheap but definitely worth the dollars
