It takes time to prepare the things to create the book.
The most tedious part is finding the most suitable image for a cover page. Varies between 10min to hours if the image is really hard to find.
If everything is in place? and starting from scratch? Usually 5 to 10 minutes. Updating is a lot faster, but i also proofread and sometimes do edits, so give or take 5mins.
How do you download the pages?
Is there a single script or you make new scripts for different sites?
In any case, i can only say that you are much better than all the other epub makers for these kind of novels!

I do it manually. I tried some scripts but they weren't up to my standards. They just give more problems than intended. So everything is manually done.

I create ebooks for personal use, using scripts... They are not horrible but still there are issues like sometimes title is included inside and sometimes not in the main text extracted...
But it doesn't matter coz it's personal use only.
I make them on my android phone using a script...
Epub is a zipped file with some text files inside.... So my script creates these txt files and then zip it
It would need to be fixed with calibre or another software...
But it works fine on moon reader without any editing..
I rarely use PC.. So it is a plus for me
just my thoughts.
1) book cover can be improved
2) the content is good! No formatting present.
3) but is in single space. (depends. maybe good/bad)
4) no boundary for footnotes.
5) Inconsistent title formats.

Earlier i was using all the info from novel updates including cover.
Is in single space? You mean there is no boundary between title and body?

Inconsistent title format would need manual editing...
