Well... link 2 material is any 2 material. So it will be easier than synchro?
Not to mention link climbing is possible, so link 3 material can be made of any other 3 monster or 1 link-2 monster and other monster.

I mean the new special summoning zone rules

Pendulum is mostly dead.

Link is easier synchro, tbh.

xyz is far more versatile than synchro at the moment. Limited, yes. But the game had continued far enough for the winner to be decided within first two turns.
