I don't know which novel you translate... but more often than not people find latest chapters from NU. Thereby skipping the announcement posts which are posted on the website. I might be wrong about the manner you 'announced' it but if it was a separate post or page, then readers like me would have inadvertently missed it.
Edit: just checked out your website. The announcement really was a separate post. I would request you to combine announcements with the 'latest chapter release posts'
I don't list on NU because of bots. Blasphemy, I know. FWIW, there was a mini-announcment and a farewell post which was linked to the welcome post. Farewell post was crawled by NU.
