Is jello a solid or a liquid?

There seem to be quite a few people posting on my profile. Did someone do a dare or something?

It's a colloid if I remember my chemistry correctly.

It's essentially a substance where the mixture has formed a microscopic crystalline structure from the powder that encompasses the other substance (in jellos case, water).

So jello has no solid form?!

Well it will turn entirely into a solid if you freeze it more, but then it won't be jello really anymore.

Would frozen jello just be ice then?

Ice with particulates frozen inside of it.

So it would be ice with little spheres of color? Like transparent dice or something?

No it's a homogeneous mixture so It'd would look like a frozen juice or such.

Does that mean if I had frozen juice, I could turn it into jello without it fully reverting to liquid form first?

No frozen juice doesn't have the crystalline particulate matter that jello does

The key to Jello is the crystalline mixture you add to the water has certain properties that when cooled in a specific way cause it to form a crystalline structure that contains the water in a homogeneous way.

Yep jello isn't vegetarian, though I'm unsure if they have reproduced it artificially
