@Katsono maybe because I'm female, I feel more connected if it's female protagonist. But I do read a couple of stories with male protagonists. What about you? What kind of stories do you like?
Me would be the opposite being a man I guess. Somehow I get bored if the protagonist is female most of the time? I dunno why though. And I like sad stories or xianxia.
@Katsono well, right now the female protagonist stories definitely...stagnant. Most of them follows the same general plotlines and tropes with little variety. Kinda why I'm searching for something new to read lol
I guess male ones too, I just assume the reason they suck is not because MC is a guy (same for female protagonists but I don't think I've often come across any fiction work with lovely ones, probably just a coincidence though).
