Well, it would be awkward to scratch your shoes because they're on usually... Right?

I can scratch it but the skin on my feet is hard asf and takes like the rise and fall of and empyre in time to go away. Even if im walking or have my shoes on ill still take them off and scrach it (only if im not on the street)
