Light (pronounced 'Raito' or whatever) is the name of the series' Main Character. He is the very popular within the community possessor of the Death Note, much for his mind games with L and memes that go around 'till today. A lot of people would certainly make the "Where's your Death Note?" joke with her if she were to let us call her "Light".

Honestly, I would rather be called Twilight and asked if I am a vampire than be called light and ask where my Death Note is.
I watched the entire series so long ago I can barely remember a thing... Except a few scenes that stuck out. Like when Light makes a guy kill a bunch of people with pages of his Death Note and makes sure the guy sees him while having the standard heart attack. The scene where he made the fiance of the said guy kill herself too.
Also, SHINY WHAMPIRES!
... No, I would never make a reference to those abominations. Even my 12-year-old self cringed through 70% of the movies. Don't wanna open up that can of worms again.
Last thing, a shiver. *shivers* Your thing with kills reminds me a little bit of Dantalian. I would make them be shagged up by a horse before doing anything else though.
