    rule of thumb in nature- prey usually have a method to avoid being eaten by its natural predator.

    But the thing is, the fox can make the hedgehog uncurl. You see, foxes are also capable of making themselves smell absolutely disgusting, to the point where the hedgehog, which has a good sense of smell to begin with, is forced to uncurl and crawl away. The fox then gets hedgehog for dinner. @ABMAINA

    first of all foxes going after hedgehogs is a more recent thing so they're not the natural predators of hedgehogs skullie. secondly personal experiences don't make everything true referring to the article you linked. and thirdly I didn't know that, haxagen but if that is indeed the case then yeah I guess it'd work.

    problem is that we'd have to get an accurate percentage for successful fox hunts on hedgehogs to make the final decision.

    but still doesn't change the fact that I'd wanna be a hedgehog back on the question lapin asked.
