it was all urgent stuff. I spent most of today coughing and following up on last weeks work that wasn't done. Thankfully I have all caught up, so I am good to go to laze around tomorrow

nope. Im the only girl on the team. And at the bottom of the pile! the way things work, I type up the document, spend hours to get it ready, then the guys finesse it and argue about tiny points for weeks before finalising things.

Guys can be b*tches too...big baby ones. :)

Ninty per cent of all delays in policy are due to tiny little points of contention which no one wants to give on, or the relentless pusuit of perfection. Things such as, "now what does that comma really mean? Could it give the reader a wrong sense of the sentence or not?" Darn it, that's the stuff that makes me wanna say "why?"
