at first i thought it was my browser, you know, cache and all, because i was able to view it on mobile

but then then i fire up another browser (never visit your site with this one), and it shows as locked too

i often saw this kind of error on @Lord Obsidian 's site too

@Lord Obsidian it has been a while, no. at least no one has been reporting them, if any.

was it patreon plugin or something that caused it? how did you fix it?

@runsing For me, it was because my hosting provider switched on caching properties that delayed updates, so any changes to the site didn't take effect for an hour. In short, check caching settings. It sure did my head in

Did you just turn the cache settings off?

@Blushy Yes. I had the hosting provider turn it off completely. You can manually manage it. Alternatively, you can speak to your hosting provider and discuss options with them. The creators of the Patreon plugin don't suggest caching due to the potential interference. I manually handle it with the WP Super Cache plugin on WP.
