Mace wont do for her, she like weapons that are hard and strong and can pierce right through and can be thrusted too, really fast at that.

but if she moves the hands up and down the sword she will cut herself

thats why the sheathe is there ~ moreover she is really good at taking care of swords

But you cant use the sword unsheated

But she only takes care of them, she doesnt not wield them and stab everyone

why would she not not stab everybody. Also taking care means she will have to unsheathe them at some points to make sure they are still usable and dont start rusting.

AS a careful caretaker she has to go through each of her sword repeatedly too make sure they are fine
