It's a platform meant for chatting. I hear, you can multitask using discord, so you can chat while gaming. People make a group, and then it's like everybody is talking to everybody.

to be more precise, its like a messenger apps intended for gamers. its a messenger that's not just equipped with text channel (the channel you use for chatting by text), but also armed with voice channel, a channel where can be joined by the member of a server who have the authority to join the voice chat channel and literally speaks freely.
