Well, to me, I’d never regret picking up a novel later. I always treat it as having the fortune to have something to read when I’m looking for another novel someday.
After all, my mood always fluctuate. What i’m read could get affected just because i’m not in the mood.
Is it somewhat similar for you?
Oh yeah, btw, I’ve also heard of QWTFOTD quite a few times since I’ve came to this site, stumbled on the novel link even more, but it’s only last month that I’ve decided to finally read it. So don’t worry to much about it, after seeing your post, i’m sure that there’s more people out there who just because a story is popular, doesn’t mean that they will read it immediately. Sometimes they’ll do it years later ~
Wow. I am honestly shocked at all the comments. @OceanMagix yes, there’s a lot of stuff I won’t read because I’m not in the mood, but this case was different. My explanation will be separated because of character limits.
I didn’t want to read FOD for a long time because of the contradictory worries of: what if I don’t like it as much as other people? Then I’ll have complicated feelings when reading people’s praise vs. what if I like it just as much as other people? What if that then ruins my enjoyment of other novels on the same genre? I think I was worrying needlessly.
@OceanMagix *self-deprecating laugh* trust me, you aren’t the first one to tell me that. ^_^; I just can’t seem to help myself from worrying. I think one of the few things I don’t worry about is my hubby’s affection.
@Katsono *pat, pat* I’m not ignoring you, it’s just that you were asking similiar questions to ocean, and it was a little easier to answer Ocean’s. *pat, pat*
