oh, barely got started, that IS a shame. Probably just had your interest piqued at that point in the story. I know a lot of people loved it, but personally, I wasn't a fan of how it all panned out. I honestly wish I'd never finished reading it XD
Huh... Welp. The only thing I can say is: While it indeed has quite an adventure every time I tend to recall about it, I oddly feel that it is not special either. The plot and its twists were good to the point where I don't understand why it is underrated, but perhaps it felt bland because it didn't do anything "new" compared to other works either...? It's a weird feeling.
Well... if it is special, then it is definitely Overlord (Maruyama), but there is also Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari that I have read along with Mushoku Tensei. I finished Tate no Yuusha first and then Mushoku Tensei.
As for what you have read/seen, Renne, keep it close to your heart and keep fantasizing about it. Because whatever it will be that you fantasize about is "probably" in the LN.
Hm... The mild dark fantasy I suppose. "Goodie-Two-Shoes MC who became lawfully evil after being summoned into an unfair world" -or something like that. Well... perhaps neutral evil would be more correct though.
