No, my oldest brother is. I am sitting in a chair right now while my soon to be sister in law is doing my hair.

Why the bride is the one who do the hair??

Because all the bridal party is getting ready in a separate room from the groom's party. That way the Groom doesn't see the Bride before the wedding.

To be fair, she is a student cosmetologist(I think. She might have graduated already.) so this is what she studied for.

Cosmetologist? So there is major in doing makeup?

Oh yeah. And it's not just makeup. Hair, nails, skin treatments, and sometimes diets although not primarily. I think the official job title is Beautician.
